  1. Interesting post - cheers Kevin. "A-pillar crash-reinforcement " - wonder why only the ST has/needs that? Lee
  2. ABS shouldnt affect the pedal feel at all when its not activated. On the mk1 Focus I always thought pedal feel was less spongy with drums on the rear! Hope it gets resolved. Lee
  3. Order books are open and have been for a month now,Ive been told first deliveries will be from the end of October. Its going to be a smashing car imo. :) Lee
  4. Be aware thats the Vignale concept guys not the convertible Focus Ford are looking to launch. From what Ive seen of the convertible it wont be anywhere near as adventurously styled :( Lee
  5. With the colour coded Recaro fabric seats (which are very supportive). Leather is an option. :) And yes, the new Astra VXR shouldnt be underestimated this time round. Its very well sorted apparently. :) Lee
  6. Nope, prices will be under 20k and they are really trying for a sub 19k ie £18,995 8) Lee
  7. Tried and tested and good for 300+ bhp with a remap on standard internals - i'd recommend it. :P  8) Lee
  8. Its usually more to do with the person you deal with, not the actual group you buy from in my experience. Lee
  9. Thats great news guys, after more research last night (and of course with all your help here) I have worked out the following.... The sports suspension kit DOES NOT lower the ride height, it simply stiffens it. For a height drop you would have to specify the Eibach kit as a dealer fit option. This drops it around -30mm. The MSD kit is also available - Kevin, thanks for the photos - what a good difference it makes - looks great over those 18's! :D Cheers, Lee
  10. Hi guys, wondering if anyone can confirm this or not. I know you can specify a sports suspension option on the new Focus but... Does this lower the car? Who makes the springs? I have been assured it DOES NOT lower it but it simply has stiffer springs (the dampers remain the same) hence increasing ride stiffness. If you want it lowering then I guess you can specify the MS Design spring kit; does anyone know how much they lower it by? Cheers in advance, Lee
  11. Do we? Thats not what I belive. And wheres the Fiesta ST TDCi? The engine exists; the Focus 1.6 TDCi 110bhp unit will go in there so why the delay?! The 2.2 Mondy lump (that is now also available in the x-type) is a superb diesel unit imo. :) Lee
  12. Great comparison, thanks for taking the time. :) Lee
  13. Yep, its different lol Would look mental modded me thinks! Saloon running 18's with the eibach 30mm drop, HID's and a few other niceties. Lee
  14. Did you specifically ask for the saloon mate or is that the only one they have available? Lee
  15. Good luck with it mate. :) Im sure you'll consider returning to the dark side one day. You'll have to post a pic inc. the last part of the reg number. ;) Lee
  16. I think they are the MS Design ones mate. Lee
  17. Love that kit, very nice. :) Lee
  18. Ian - I noticed that on the day too - we even had the new MK2's there and they havent been available for anywhere near as long as the CMAX has. :( Lee
