However I have a full cat back exhaust system and have replaced the filter with the K&N cone so was kind of hoping I might get more than 9hp with better air flow an all that - what do you think? If it honestly won't do much I won't bother as would rather save for a nice set of alloys...its annoying theres so little that I can do performance wise!

I would hate to think what crappy BHP my 1.6 would deliver... :? These engines in the Focus seem to just have a mind of their own, sometimes they can fly but other times run like crap - without me changing my driving style...

I don't think they are faulty as I can run the angels off of the boot light wiring for example and it works fine. Not sure about being grounded properly...it has one white lead with black stripes on it...is this a ground wire?

Hi, Recently bought some angel eyes for the MK2 on ebay, trying to fit them today and can plug in the light and operate indicators, main beam and full beam perfectly. However the angel eyes and optional LEDs have to be wired in differently. The instructions make no sense, so has anyone else bought some and installed them? There are black wires and white wires - assuming white is positive I connected all blacks to black and whites to white, connected them where it said but they just isntantly blow my sidelight fuses on both sides... :shock:

I bought the K&N filter for my focus (cylinder not panel) and it made no difference to the sound. Full sport cat back exhaust system did though... :twisted:

And the answer from Apex: Our springs are, besides the epoxy coating, also fosfor treated. This should prevent heavy rusting. A couple of paint chips isn't really a problem. Cheers RB, everyone says something different like you said but I'm thinking Ill use some clearcoat on the chips to seal them up and that should sort the problem.

Got them from eBay but its a bit of hassle sending them back if its not really an issue...I mean I thought stones would chip them anyway over time? If it is genuinely going to screw them up though then will go to the trouble to return them...

Hi, I just bought the above, however they arrived with the paint a little bit chipped on each spring where they rubbed in transit...will this affect anything? Dont want them to rust and collapse in a few months! Cheers.
