    Well I've de-badged, painted the calipers silver, badge overlays from DMB.uk.com, new number plates, new tax disc holder, brighter bulbs, mudflaps.... Doesn't seem much but it does look better.

    Thats what I did, I also removed the Focus badge.

    I'm on about the ST projectors (not xenon) if this helps.

    Does anyone know if the projector headlights are a straight swap with standard headlights. Can I set the projector straight on as I doubt I have the wiring for the steering function.

    £10 ebay. :D I just used Halfords Plastic primer, Halfords Ford Star Silver paint and Halfords Lacquer.

    For me it's far better where it is. My go go gadget arms wouldn't cope with it being next to the drivers seat. :lol:

    £250 for a full service. :shock: I pay £85 at my local garage and he does way more than Ford probably do.

    My '05 1.6 does this when cold for about 2 mins, then it goes quiet.

    If they are primed just clean them and then apply paint etc. Another tip, only use Ford paint as it sprays and looks far better than Halfords paint.

    If your cars still under warranty you would get a modified set under warranty. Cars an '05 so DIY only I'm afraid.

    I use whatever garage comes first when I need it.

    My heated ones leaked on my ghia. Nothing a small bit of clear silicoln didn't sort out.
