I have owned 10 brand new fords over ten years. all on the PRIV discount....all have lost me more money than if I had owned a couple of 2 r old motors over a number of years, but for me the joy of OWNING brand new is unmatched.

Its another way in which the cars are disguinshable from each other. Just like the zetec not having footwell lights and the ghia having them. Must be slightly different in order to charge more!!

Its the thing that the delaer plugs in and charges you for the joy!

Well worth it mate. I use mine loads but always remove them when not needed. Takes 5 minutes to fit/remove once you have the hang of it. Look at it this way.......Ikea charge about £40 delivery...a couple of trips and you've saved that dough! I've been flat packing from there the last few weekends and it great to watch all these muppets trying to cram stuff inside their cars while you just lob it on top! The best once was my kingsize mattress, just strapped on my aluminium laddres side by side and lashed the mattress straight onto that!! HAPPY DAYS!!

I got yours. Thankfully I am south essex where we have a tonne of dealers to choose from! All as useful as a bottle of chips once they have made that all important sale!

I have just e-mailed my dealer and he said it was 20% for priv price, but hinted it mught be ST2 and ST3 only. You need xenon lights guys....YOU NEED THEM!!!!!

Could well be the case. Mine are starting to need replacing on the rear after 26k miles.

No luck. Went into dealers and they put new battery in and no luck....said it was probably the module on the car. Booked it in on Thursday for diagnostics!!! Anyone know of anything I should ask them to do/upgrade while there? Cheers
