I have the deep boot mat with the sides. excellent, but it does not allow you to move the middle seat back to do the legroom thing. Not for sale mind you....just thought i`d mention it!!

I always grease my nuts (ooooerrr!!) within a few months of purchase!!

You have to remove one of the side seats then a small unit screws onto the bar that is left, all it is, is a quick release spindle that holds the front fork, you then get a strap to strap the front wheel to the rear. I have attached three bikes together on the one carrier. It really is good! I bought mine for about £25 but that was with ford employee discount, think they are about £40

I have internal bike carrier. Its great. You will need to put sheet inside to keep crud off the seats, but i tend to jst remove the seats anyway. Keeps the bike neatly upright so you can pack other gear in too. Ideal when travelling long distances and external/roof racks just make noise and cause drag. Also good as you can park car overnight knowing bike is safe inside! I do lots of trips to wales with mine from Essex and find it ideal. Shame the seats are so heavy and awkward to remove but I suppose you cannot win them all!

You will have to fold the seats forward to give you room enough to pull the headrest out completely!

Check your seat cloth under your bum. Is it loose at all? Some ghia velour seats have shown signs of being "baggy". I have mine under investigation now.

Having said that my 6 speed box on the two litre diesel is top left!! BE WARNED!

I am sure this facility if on 05 models or later. I would like it on my 54 model if anybody knows how to do it!!

I have the ULTIMA. Its NOT got DEATC but does have an awesome body kit which makes it less "family" in appearance! You may well have seen mine as I am in south essex

I am another owner that does not suffer from a similar problem. Seems weird BOTH you and your wife have felt it!!!!! :shock:

You can buy the bike kit o fix bikes inside car too!!!
