Mine is APRIL 2005. and it was an option on the c-max, it still is last time I checked. (on the S-MAX as well)

Well actualy in a couple of ways, but the easiest are to use the record function. You first command the phone function than the record or otherwise it will record the name of a location and not of a phone number. The only problem is that you have to spell the number first and than to tag a name to it. It would've been easier if the computer could use the phones adress book or any other function of it for the matter but it can't since that would require softwere for each type of phone. Maybe it does not work on xenons or vice-versa since I have xenons (and I don't realy need that option) I haven't tried it yet but I will later this day so I'll get to you.

So conclusion: it's the CVT shift that doesn't (for whatever reason) hold the car when it should. I hope you want have trouble with it anymore. For my info (I was probably wrong), you should or you should not brake with your left foot?

Pick one up.... :shock: :shock: :shock: They are all Galaxy, Fiesta, Golf IV, Passat and even some Seat models. They are sold for each model seperatly but they are the same model and same make. They even have the same item number. All custom made from different tuning companies and listed on the site link above.

That is complitly true but if you bought an automatic you should've been prepared for that. You can't really expect to drive a car (even an automatic) whit only one foot. That is way the brake pedal is so wide, so you can brake with bouth or one of the legs. The only way to start a hill with the automatic is to press the brake with the left foot, put it in to drive D, disengage the E-Brake, press the gas pedal (with your right foot normally) and when the car starts to move forward you gently release the brake and there you go. :roll:

In Switzerland the 1.6 TDCi is the only one offered with the CVT.

Sorry I was thinking of the retrovisor repeaters. So to corect myself here you have one of the biggest choise of side blinkers on the market. As for the colour, we already discussed this on the French forum http://www.passion-focus.com/forums/vie ... 3528cbd5dd and it's a normal thing for the Machine silver colour (at least an offten problem). So unfortunatly I don't think you could expect any compensation since that is a so called flip-flap colour with lots of "mika" inside wich gives a different colour at a different angle with a pearlish look. The point is that Ford hasn't yet mastered that colour and some of the cars comes out quite uneven. The seller will allways try to hand over the car in the

That should be the post I was thinking about. Regarding the Airbags thay should be in the seats not in the pillars (paralel to the pillars) but I haven't looked (they were in the seats on my old Audi A2).

Ok, they are bouth diesel so it could be that the dashboard creaks cause the diesels are vibrating more but that's just a theory for now, we need more samples.

The seventh place is for the manufecturing society that built the car ( G for Germany) and the eight place for the Plant that assembled it (C for Saarlouis). The 11th place is the year (3 for 2003). One Zetec and One Ghia. Alfie, is your Max a diesel?
