Bought mine like this as I love it, Not to everyones taste but gives you an idea of styles etc. The wheels are ford's st style wheels, 16" painted black. The centre caps are dmb gel overlays in carbon and chrome now, but this is an old pic.

Hi guys, I have a standard 1.6 mk2.5, year 2008. It showed 37mpg average on a run to southampton last week, which is 1 and a half hours away by mainly motorway. Since I've been home and just running around town etc its dropped again to 36.5mpg average. This the normal or should I be getting more out of it? And what should I be going by, the average mpg or the one that tells me exactly what im doing as im driving? Ill put some petrol in later and see how many miles it says I can go, Ive found that to be pretty accurate or within 3-4 miles out.

Ok I've found a potential new car as im in the market. Its a 2008 facelift style. However the 1 previous owner has added things such as rear parking sensors apparently air con (or front heated window) unsure if the style has air con as standard but im led to believe its been added. St wheels in black tinted rear privacy glass. On the outside it looks fab, nice blue on black wheels, all colout coded, spoiler etc. But I hardly know anything about the 'style' model. Same as mine, my mk.1.5 has reached 72k this summer and it needs a new catalytic converter, just had a new alternator fitted as that went 2 months ago, its 8 years old on 72k so a cambelt change is inevitable. The brakes are wearing down badly (just bad luck they are going wrong with all else) and theres a good few minor dents across her where people have opened there doors into her. The car was valued at fords even in brentwood yesterday and Their maximum offer is £1500 part ex. Which is crappy :( Problem is i cant sell it private with all the problems shes got. I just could't spend the cash when soon there will be a facelift and so far I've loved every facelifted focus! But i am a fan! Not so much on the rear lights but the front is schweeet. Very RS looking with the grilles.
