Ok not recall, lets call it Arnold instead. My point is exactly vaild. If Ford f**k up because of build quality or manufacturing defect they should at least send a buffer stock to dealers on a sale or return basis. To have an Arnold and rely on the dealer to stock the item is rubbish and even more so when the dealer does order and quotes weeks before the parts arrive. Somethings wrong here and any logistical problem has a solution. Whats lacking here is the will. Jeez, I used to think the customer counted. -

Colleague at work has just bought an ASBO car. The orange ST... Have to saym after the initial shock, I really liked it. Great seats and a lovely purr when he started her up. Very nice but not as nice as another colleague who has just bought, at £27,000, a new black Lotus Elise. Took me for a spin.....never been in anything quicker of that holds the road as well. Astonishing. Mind you he has no kids and is only 27....b***ard. My point with the recall parts is that Ford should ship to the dealers not leave it for them to order. -
Another day at Dealer's vol II

...and demand refund for the brake service or even the whole bill refunded. Thats a disgrace, Demand to see the Service director, not manager or the managing director and point out to him that you could have been talking to him from intensive care. Throw in the fact that your children were in the car as well. F***wits! -
Indeed, we have servants that we spit on when out to keep the pavements clean.

"AT WORK" Thast where I do all my best stuff. work for a company the is in the internet sector so I spend all day every day on the net....like this post
-
I like the fact that Scotty is within "spitting" distance of Harpo. Seems fitting somehow for that part of the world. Like the 2nd set and a repair if they get kerbed is only about £45 from someone like Wicked Wheels.

I'm confused. Did he say he gets arcing across his nipple if his car is "dirty"? Is that a euphemism ? Static strips do work, Halfords still do them. Remember its also you that is building up the charge like a capacitor. Hold the metal of your key and touch that to the car door before you get out.

Zetec for me as well. I really didn't like the Lego style leather seats in the Ghia, although I know some here love the feel of stiff leather on their backsides.... the EPB worried me as well. Got used to it quickly on a test drive but I could never trust anything that didn't involve a good yank.

Indeed. I miss my C-Max for its sheer driveability and performance.

Scotty's car has changed a bit since that early picture Mind you he reckons a bit of T-Cut should fix it up. That was before he let dennis fit his hands free kit for him though.... -

I find it incredible that Ford announce a recall/replacement program and never ever have any of the parts in stock. Why don't they just wait until they have sufficient stock before p***ng people off? -
Yep, looks distorted to me as well. Check out the size of the front and rear wheels. Way out of proportion to the perspective of the picture. Note the vertical line on the cill underneath the front/rear door join. Very odd

I knew Dennis wouldn't show his knob in public. I doubt that he really had a posh one anyway. You know the type "met two Japanese twins last night, am I tired out" Still a 1.5 TDi Scenic...impressive..... -

Thing is that you'll always find a better deal after you have bought yours. I paid £12,300 for my 2.oTDCi Zetec from Hartwells in Oxford back in Sept. No trade in though. Cost to change is the key here not sticker price. -
I'll give you £3.50 for the Laguna if you throw in a years tax & MOT Deebrief, well worth giving it a clean, even for a dealer
-
Indeed. Once you know what the car will do in both areas....and accept them....its a very, very good car.
-
Which is quite right as well. You don't hear many DB9 (unfair comparison but the principals the same) drivers going "Well, it goes like a rocket but the mpg is a bit pants" The disappointment a lot of diesel C-Max owners have after picking their car up is the "poor" mpg which does not compare well with other diesel cars.
