  1. Mark, i was going to ask this question. The one thing i really need for my car more than anything else, is a handsfree bluetooth of some sort. Ive installed the Song 6CD changer into my Foci, which obviously has the PHONE button on it, but the car itself i dont think will have the mic and other cables installed, therefore it will not work. In my previous car i did have a parrot, but i dont fancy one in this car as they are a bit like a tomtom dock and attract attention to your motor when people look inside :(
  2. Your entitled to your opinion bud, and i respect that. Yeh maybe your right about the smoked look. I think i will be slowly going down that round in the future anyway, as i am waiting for a decent pair of smoked rear lights to come out, and then i will match them up with smoked rear fog lights  Thanks for your feedback
  3. Doesnt look too bad that Alan, hmmmm :?
  4. Hmmm not bad at all, pretty nice that is :D
  5. Never bought them as one piece mate, i bought all the parts seperately which includes things like the replacement mirror covers with pre-cut part ready for indicators to slot in, bulbs, indicators, wiring, paint etc.... All comes to around £80 Should take around 2-3 hours to do it all, when done you will just be re-applying the lacquer and paint to the mirror covers and waiting to dry :D
  6. Thanks for the comments all :D 8)
  7. Looking good mate, much better than the previous ones Careful where your little en's put their bikes aswell
  8. They look well smart craig, can imagine them lights coming up behind you, will look very agressive
  9. That is exactly the reason why i didnt do mine, i was scared of F-ing it up  Wiring seems easy enough now ive seen it, but before hand i think i would of struggled :?
  10. Had a bit of a mod done to my Foci yesterday. Think it looks pretty good myself, please let me know what you think.......... Want to say a big Thanks to Alan who did this for me, your a star mate and a true gent for sorting this out, thank you :bowdown
  11. Hmmmm not bad, looks ok, shame about the alloys, not too keen on them
  12. Welcome to the MK2 massive
  13. Heres mine mate, factory fitted though im afraid......
  14. Mark, what engine do you have, as 175BHP seems high to be honest, unless you have had other things done. If you have a 2.0L Diesel they are only 136bhp anyway like mine, so its a jump of 40bhp. Unless you have a petrol that is
  15. Mine had to go in for some work about 3 weeks ago, was only for a few days. Dont think it is a requirement, as above it all depends on the size of the garage and if they have one available and if they are willing to let you have one. I was offered one for the 2 days but i didnt need it to be honest :D
  16. Ive been having a think about remapping mine, not yet though, later in the year or next year as in a few months i will have to stop modding the exterior of my car, as they wont be much more i can do come the turn of 08  Will have to look into it, pro's and con's and weigh it all up. Does anybody know the main gains of remapping? Was tempted to go for summit along the lines of a bluefin etc... but id rather have something done that you cannot see whn you pop the hood
  17. Hmmm, if you really like them, i can see why it is a tough decision. I know you dont know of anyone local, but maybe it is worth asking in your regions section on the forum if anybody does know anywhere. At least then if they do, you can price up the refurb price, to the new alloy price Dont forget, if you get the new alloys, and you aint gonna get the others refurbed, alot of people will be wanting a bargain price for them, so you wont make that much dollar back
  18. Im would say no aswell Craig im afraid :( Dont see the point, they are near enuff the same BUT, as i always say, its upto you in the end bud, if you like them and dont want the hassle of a refurb, then go for it
  19. Im working on that one aswell
  20. Lol Well ive showed mine Tony, dunno if you saw it, was a few days ago now and its called Tints Done, is a bit lower down the section So someone else must have a go
  21. Erm the rear clusters im not a fan of, i have seen you will be getting the Black LED rears. I take it they are from European Parts. If they are they will look better but im still not that keen on the LEDs to be honest If your thinking about getting chrome jet washer heads, i think that will be going along the lines of chav, lol  Sorry if i come across negative Craig mate, i dont tend to be, they are just parts i wouldnt buy, but as i said earlier, we all have different views and opinions to parts etc..... so please dont let me put you off bud, you mod the car the way you like it, it
  22. Spot on rick. Eibachs are an official Ford part, therefore its just like you have bought an upgrade from fords, so your warrenty wont be affected. Also on the bright side, fords do not have to fit them, any old garage can and still your warrenty wont be touched. Ive seen posts on here in the past from people being charged well over £200 just in labour costs from fords :x Craig.... Car is looking nice mate, some nice mods, i have to say i dont like a few, but we all have different tastes mate, and overall it is a great looking car bud I agree with others in saying colour-coding is a
  23. Well mate, ive got a 2.0 TDCi and ive been told that i have to run the car in over 5K before it starts to give a true sort of reading, not sure if this will be the same with yours though
