  1. This is my Ghia, inside which I changed to the Titanium surround. As you can see it complements the silver gearstick surround and pedals. I think the silver one would also have complemented it well.
  2. I would say - go for it! It's not silly IMHO. I've never seen an ST-flavoured mk2 in Aquarius Blue, so you could have something unique there. The best thing about is that you'll have the ST's great looks without the running costs!!
  3. Yes, I have them and I think they're worth it for those tight spots! But obviously with anything you have to use common sense as well. £299 seems a little steep - try a few different Ford dealers or go to a company direct because all my local Ford dealer was going to do is call in an external company to do it on their behalf anyway! Might as well cut out the middle man.
  4. Aww that's a bit negative, cheer up! Car is looking really nice.
  5. Definitely a bit individual, it's not what I'd do but then that isn't the point.. it's what you're personally happy with. Enjoy!
  6. Cool, definitely let us know how you get on!
  7. There is also the Code Red mod which you can get from Wolf Concept UK. Has anyone tried that for the 2.0 TDCi ?
  8. I think that the existing chrome looks better. The non-chrome grille is something that is found on the LX and it looks cheap. Sorry...
  9. No, it should be cheaper than that, I would say no more than £250 for parking sensors.
  10. Look at it this way - if you buy a Ghia without leather seats, and then you decide you want them later - they can be easily added later by going to a workshop to get your seats retrimmed. This is what I did. If you bought a Titanium and then decided you wanted cruise control later - you'd need the proper Ford 4-spoke steering wheel with the button controls, and as I think has been discussed before I do not think you would get any Ford dealer or anyone else interested in trying to retrofit it. With a Ghia you also get a nice little Ghia badge on both sides of your car!! :D There's hard
  11. Excellent, they'll do the job just nicely. Remember to post more pics.
  12. Lovely - but do change the registration plate, because technically it's illegal out on the public roads. I'd also upgrade the alloy wheels to at least 17 inchers.
  13. There is already a thread about that :- http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name= ... c&t=163500
  14. I've had 17s and 18s on the same car and can't say I noticed any difference when the 18s went on. For some reason it varies from car to car - my old 1.6 Ti-VCT Titanium used to howl through the air vents when I went over a certain speed and it got a little annoying - the diesel Ghia I currently own doesn't. I think it's a case of "YMMV" again...
  15. I tend to agree with this. I remember a while ago scanning through old posts in this Forum, whereupon in one thread I saw a picture of a Focus ST. This picture had in fact come from Auto Express who had published the image well before it had been confirmed what the car would look like. A number of posters dismissed the picture - but it turned out to be identical to the production version. FWIW, I like Auto Express, it's a cheap bit of weekly car porn.
  16. Rear lights in that position does not a Focus make!!!! One of the things that I love about the design of the mk1 and mk2 is the styling and position of the rear lights. Ford take note!! The rest of it is nice though. Must say that use of the existing C-Max interior in the article is rather poor.
  17. They do look kind of BMW-ish. Thanks for the pics!
  18. Very nice!! Like the seats esp. If I didn't own a 2.0 TDCi already, I'd buy one!
  19. Will the ST receive the new look as well ? Anyway my guess is that the front headlamps will change to have that more "swept to the side" look that the new Mondeo has. Probably a change to the front bumper as well.
  20. That one's bothering me at the moment. It's only appeared just recently. Is there quick way to fix it?
  21. I replaced my Ghia's wood effect surround (identical one in the pics above) for a Titanium one. Got the part from European Parts, but you could just order it from your local Ford dealer.
