mastertech - Does EGR affect petrol version, part. auto?
Mastertech replied to Tan's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
no its bull poo, the egr does not work when your asking for full power it remains shut! also if you do disconect or block it the pcm knows from the intel sensors, logs a fault and puts the mil on, so then you need your dealer, who will tell you sorry not warranty as you have tampered with it -
as has been said, out of 1st year warranty so no cover
-
normal dont worry as long as your letting it idle for around 30 sec before you shut down

Mastertech replied to bazza1603's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
yup as the panels will never match , thay are painted off the car in dif parts of factory, only way to match 100% is paint em in one go, and that takes too much time and costs to much, so for a mass produced car yup aceptable, if you want perfect match get a hand assmbled car and pay for it :!: -

Mastertech, Haven't posted very much but have lurked and read plenty of your posts and have noted that firstly you don't take any c**p, secondly that you really know your Fords and thirdly that you've been a huge amount of help to many on the Forums. I take my hat off to you and am not LeeMarMitt in disguise or anything lol. I'm also not about to say that "all Ford dealers are rubbish" or anything, or that the dealers don't have to implement fixes when Ford muck it up in design/manufacture/assembly. Perhaps I need to clarify my experiences that I've alluded to in my last post- my use of t -
