  1. I posted some photos a while back, about halfway down this thread. Might help? Tim
  2. http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=112271 How about courtesey light unit with submarine lighting? (missing from my 55 Titanium but in my in-laws 55 Ghia estate :( )
  3. I've just done some maths out of interest (never thought I'd hear myself say that!). The overall diameters of the various options are: 205/55 R16 - 51.9cm 205/50 R17 - 53.4cm 225/40 R18 - 54.7cm and the spacesaver: 125/85 R16 - 51.4cm so it doesn't even match the standard 16" rims exactly, and the bigger the wheels, the more lopsided! I was quite surprised at the difference in overall diameter as I always thought that bigger wheel + lower tyre profile = same overall diameter regardless of wheel size, but it looks like that's not strictly true, with nearly 3cm difference between 16s
  4. The spare will be a space-saver steel wheel by default. A full size steel spare is a option at extra cost, but that reduces your boot space and (according to the brochure at least) isn't available with 17" or 18" alloys. Tim
  5. My 1.8 TDCi has normal reverse. Same gear knob as my previous 1.6 Ti-VCT. Cheers Tim
  6. It's not a very good picture, but my guess is that the single DIN adaptor and CD box look like the one in the picture of the "MultiMedia DVD system" on the audio options page of the Ford website Tim
  7. From the "All New Focus Accessories" sticky: 1329408 RH Black finish £63.04 1329414 LH Black finish £63.04 Tim
  8. Yeah, I don't know why they persist with the plastic wood. Maybe the older generation like it! I noticed that the letest specs on the Ford website say that the Ghia has a "Centre stack bezel in Mocca finish" whatever that means. The picture is too small to see it properly, but they may have changed it? My wife actually prefers the zetec one to the one in our new Titanium so there's no pleasing everyone! I was a bit doubtful about the radio keys to be honest, most of the ones sold on the web look like this: whereas the Autoleads ones from Halfords look like this: The guy in Ha
  9. Ulsterfocus is right, it is dead easy! I put my wood effect surround back in last week before my Ghia went back to the dealer as part-ex for a Titanium. I took the opportunity to grab a few photos for the benefit of anyone who needs convincing exactly how easy it is. Before you start you'll need: [*:36901qc7] Replacement surround (FINIS codes and prices for the various options can be found in this "Ask Tezza" thread) [*:36901qc7] Torx T20 screwdriver [*:36901qc7] Your radio code (you'll be unplugging the radio) This is the starting point, my Ghia with a Zetec-style silver surround.
  10. Hi, Can't comment on how difficult it might be (though fear of the airbag would put me off going anywhere near it!), but I just thought I'd point out that the Titanium has a 3-spoke wheel (the Ghia has 4-spoke leather, but that also has the cruise control controls), Cheers Tim
  11. Glad to hear you got it sorted. In case you haven't ordered one yet, FINIS numbers and prices for the various centre panels are in this thread Did the dealer charge you for doing the WDS thing?
  12. OK, thanks. Maybe one from another Focus will be OK. Anyone know for sure?
  13. Do they need setting up on WDS if they are swapped from one Focus to another, or is that just for new units? Sounds like a right pain (and money for old rope for the dealers) Hopefully they'll just charge for how long it actually takes. I had a headlamp bulb on my old Mk 1.5 changed by my local dealer (don't ask!) and they charged around £20 for 0.3 of an hour.
  14. Ah, I know that one. MY = Model Year. Presumably this doesn't necessarily run Jan - Dec, though I don't know if the changeover to the next model year happens at the same time every calendar year? Thanks for the update on VIN interpretation SIick170. makes more sense now.
  15. Hi all, I picked up my new (to me at least) 5 door 1.6 Ti-VCT Ghia last week, and so far I am very pleased with it :D I was just looking at the VIN code though, and it comes out as a "combi high roof" which seems a bit odd. Anyone else with a 5 door have a VIN code starting WF05? Thanks Tim
