  1. Adam, I got mine done professionally, they only cost me £40 including materials. He only sanded down the 'eyebrow' the bottom part was done with the bobbles left in the plastic. See below.
  2. I open my boot slowly to allow excess water to run out the sides before it goes into the boot, it gathers just below the rear wiper (outside) and runs to either side when opening the boot.
  3.  I don't believe it!!, Car went in this morning after Ford had had it for 6 hours last Saturday and told me the washer level switch must need replacing. They phoned me up after an hour and a half to tell me my car doesn't have one fitted!!!!  How useless are they??
  4. Getting mine replaced on Tuesday, will ask how much the part is.
  5. Geoff, It's both, a yellow warning light on the left hand side of the message centre and a warning message stating low washer fluid. I don't know why they seem to have removed it from some models. You would think most cars have it as standard these days. My sisters 07 Mondeo LX has it :?
  6. I read this thread last month and thought I've never had this trouble, UNTIL THIS WEEK!! Mine went in today to check the sensor, new one on order to be fitted sometime this week. :?
  7. I paid £50 to get both done including materials. The surround just pop out.
  8. I got mine fully colour coded at my Ford dealer by a third party body sprayer. See this post. http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name= ... highlight=
  9. My Sony MP3 has been superb also, the Mondeo fascia is at a different angle completely to the focus one, so as other have already said, it won't fit!!
  10. Yeah, You will find it runs out onto the wheel if you spill a bit of water when you are filling the washer bottle too.
  11. Not had any issues with my N95 and Bluetooth module through the Sony MP3 on a 2006 model.
  12. Get the 2.0 it rocks!!! The 1.8 is the 8 valve engine Ford have used for sometime. As far as I'm aware Ford now only produce the 109bhp version of the 1.6 and have since 05/06, and as you are after a 2007 model I think they will all be 109bhp. I have had both the 1.6 and the older 1.8 and I only really noticed the increased torque of the 1.8 during mid range acceleration on the motorway. The 1.6 gets my thumbs up from me.
  13. The bluetooth is not built into the stereo, I have had two Sony MP3 players in my car and the bluetooth worked with either. The mic is located by the interior light. Yes, it is controlled through the stereo but not built into the head unit.
  14. I'm with the RAC, lowering didn't affect my insurance on a 2.0 TDCi Ghia. :)
  15. My display seems ok, drops like a stone with a heavy pedal and settles when in cruise conrtol.
  16. Tom, My letter was dated the 5th December too, only arrived an the 15th, useless eh?? More like Ford not posting them!!
  17. If it's very annoying, sounds like it's not getting used often enough :?
  18. Don't know how many this affects but here's the letter for info. Mine is a July 06 model 2.0 TDCI Ghia. Will be on the phone first thing Monday morning.
  19. Interesting, I fancy a 1 series BMW for my next car too!!
  20. No issues with my battery and Sony head unit, mine is a July 06 model.
