Does anyone have the month of manufacture codes for 2006? I have checked the thread here: http://www.ffoc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=68861 and there is no reference to 2006 :( I picked up my new Zetec Climate today and just trying to work out when it was built as it was a factory order with the upgraded alarm. From what I have found so far it has: - The new 'ST' style rear wiper. - The plastic clips that the bulb holders would go into but no bulb holders or wiring that I can see. - An AUX button on the radio but no visible connector in the glovebox.

Out of interest, where does the aux plug fit in the glovebox? I have a round socket on the right rear of the glovebox with holes round it then another (what would be a) hole in the middle rear of the glovebox but this is blanked off.

It might be the AUX connector for the radio so you can hook up an MP3 player, etc. How old is your car?

Can anyone get info about the parts from their car using ecat or is that an internal dealer only system?

I dont think the dimmer 'wheel' is there any more on the later builds. This has been spotted in other threads as well.

Its not mandatory so most cars still have plates without the european logo on them.

Do they perform ECU updates as part of a service or do you have to ask for them to do it?

What he means is that its based on the 1.6 (100bhp) lump but with a VCT head and a different ECU program.

I have seen one or two green ones and it looks awful. All the other colours seem to suit it well.

Its probably cheaper for them to fit the loom than not fit the loom.

The panel on the updated Fiesta gives you information such as radio station name, volume level, etc. Its a shame it hasnt been retrofitted to the Focus (or maybe Ford are saving it for the facelift model) as its a really handy feature to have because you never have to look at the radio.
