  1. I'd love too, insurance is another £500 or so for me though :(
  2. Yipee! Went down to Rates in Grays and took a 1.8 TDCI Titanium out for a spin. I must admit, I drove it like an old man so didn’t really get a great impression of how tasty the tdci was over the petrol engines. I did notice the slight lag at lower revs but this was made up for from 2-2.5K onwards and I'm sure with a plug and play box the lag will mostly get cleared up anyway! My only gripe is that as I said, I drove the titanium which had the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in, I'm only getting the Zetec climate so doubtful the seats will be quite as nice (part leathers etc). On
  3. Some of the parts European parts have is good, i.e. the gear knobs, stereo fascias etc etc!
  4. Found the new brochure here: http://ford.co.uk/spg/getImage.asp?imag ... =Focus.pdf :D
  5. Spoke to a ford dealer and he wasnt sure (a lot of help :P) If its the 17's that say 'option' on them then they are quite nice! Cheers Caspon
  6. There’s a £500 optional upgrade that has 17" alloys and a body coloured spoiler but the ford site doesn’t say what wheels are included in the pack, anyone got an idea? Cheers, Jon
  7. Ouch that’s some difference! I assume its still safe to use for the trip back to the garage lol?
  8. hope so else the foci will be going home at an angle lol!
  9. This may sound stupid guys but can you use the 16" space saver if i get a flatty on a bigger wheel?
  10. foxyfocus, what colour is your foci, is it aqua blue?
  11. Just come off the phone with the supplier I'll be using and as I suspected the tints are only the back windows, I think it looks odd with just the bad tinted and not the fronts so I'm going to drop that. Total price now including delivery and 12months road tax is down to £13,259.24 :D I have one stupid question though, I've upgraded the rims to those 18" jobbies, do they change my spare wheel too as obviously that’s 16" by default!
  12. I think it looks really great too. The only niggling concern is whether I would have iossues selling it on at a later date because of the colour!
  13. Indeed Caspon, I', still not sure on what colour to choose though, its a lot of money to spend if I decide I don’t like the colour, here is what Im liking at the moment, opinions please people :D http://axerite.com/images/carcolour.png
  14. lol your right a 0 was missing off the end. The colour in the pic is still available though, not sure if its exactly the same colour as foxyfocus's as the configurator pic isn’t all that good tbh!
  15. The sport seems a disappointment to me as it seems very 'false' looks post on the outside but pretty gutless on the inside with standard suspension and limited engine upgrades...
  16. First off apologies to foxyfocus, I loved his Mk2 so much that I decided I was going to scrap buying a second hand Mk2 and get a brand new one so I could get a 3door and aqua on a 1.8 TDCI without any problems! So I am now officially going to be a copy cat  http://axerite.com/images/newcar.png I can get the car including the options for £13500 on the road with no hidden fee's, what do you think guys, bargain? My intentions are to get the fogs and door strips colour coded as well as fitting something along the lines of the bluefin (but another variety) to make the TD less laggy and more
  17. If anyone had a jig and was knocking some up, I'd be interested too :D
  18. Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone knows if the 1.8 TDCI gear stick has normal reverse or lift up reverse? Cheers!
  19. eeek dont tell em there are rattles, ralles do my head in!
