  1. Well...i recently ran out of washer fluid in my 59 plate Titanium and i don't recall hearing any kind of warning! :?
  2. I'll second that people don't know how to drive on ice and snow!! People have just been driving as though its a baking hot summers day and as though the roads are full of traction!!!!! No wonder i've been busy with work lately!!! I work for a Motor Accident Management company and we deal in non fault claims. We've been VERY busy recently due to the weather!! Look out....there's numpty's about!!!!
  3. The side lights are a b!tch Highlander! It was explained to me on here how to do it...but i still can't do it! I've got LED's waiting to go in...but just can't do it! Haha! Pics of your Philips extreme's would be good though.
  4. Good point Ben....hadn't thought of that! lol!
  5. Is this for the mk 2? The mk 2.5 comes with this as standard...well...the Titanium does anyway.
  6. Ive worked it out. Mine DOES have one touch up and down. For some reason the other night it wasn't working to get the window up....and i had to hold the button to get the window up! Seems to be working fine now though! :?
  7. I've noticed that mine doesn't look as clear first thing in the morning when its cold. It kinda looks like it has lines on it but it goes alright after a bit.
  8. Guys, Does the mk 2.5 have a one touch up/down feature on the driver and passenger front windows? I'm 99% sure that it does...although i noticed today that mine only has a one touch feature to put the window down...but im almost certain it had one to put it up again too? Have i got this wrong or have i got a fault somewhere??
  9. Guys, Does anyone know when the new Focus is due out? I heard it was meant to be sometime this year? I'm not sure if i like it to be honest. The front of it is lovely...but not sure on the back! :?
  10. I think the 17's on mine look a bit daft cos of the height of the suspension...let alone 19" RS alloys! lol! I think they could've and should've made the suspension a lil bit lower.
  11. Yeah...the height of the suspension is also an issue.
  12. I was looking at getting RS alloys but i don't think i'll bother. I think the standard 17" Titanium alloys on mine are nice...and suit the car really well! The Ford salesman told me that if i got DDS and then fitted aftermarket alloys...that it would mess up all the sensors and i'd have to take it in for them to all be reset. Then of course...if i put the standard alloys back on...they'd have to be reset again! Too much fannying around...thats why i didnt get it! It's nice to have the option to fit aftermarket alloys or not!
  13. Yep! Tested in the harshest conditions in Sweden according to the Ford website!
  14. Don't forget...if you get the DDS fitted then it won't work on aftermarket alloys! It was something i was considering when ordering my Titanium but the salesman quite rightly pointed this out to me.
  15. Lets not get "Traction Control" and "Traction Assist" confused. To me...Traction Control is a seperate system that is alot more powerful than Traction Assist. Yes...to an extent...ESP has "Traction Control" but i think it's a far cry from full "Traction Control"....if that makes sense? I've had wheel spin even with ESP. I always have my ESP turned on and i've managed to burn rubber without even wanting to!
  16. The Kuga's gorgeous! Really like em!
  17. Yeah yeah i know all that! lol! So basically the traction assist doesn't really give u traction on ice like a 4x4 system...it basically just gives you traction when your wheels skid?
  18. RB....i thought that was just the ESP? Ok let me ask this question...has anyone noticed any better grip when driving on the ice?? There's been a few times that my wheels have spun and i've skidded!
  19. Does anyone else wish they had a 4x4 in this weather we're experiencing at the moment? SO wish i had a Kuga! Haha!
  20. Guys, How are you all finding your mk 2.5's on the snow and ice? Does ESP with the "Traction Assist" actually do anything? I've been taking it really steady...so steady that i don't really have an opinion! :? Focus has an advanced braking system to provide total reassurance, whatever the conditions. Fitted as standard, the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) with Traction Assist (TA) helps combat problems that may occur during sudden manoeuvres, helping you to maintain full control of the vehicle. It reacts automatically if needed, by reducing power or applying a braking force to any wh
  21. Diamond Visions aren't 'E' approved legal are they?
  22. Highlander any chance of seeing them on, on your foci? Cheers.
  23. The only other alternative is to go to a custom exhaust place like Powerflow or Eurosport exhausts and just tell them you want an ST type exhaust done.
  24. I've heard that better gains come from panel filters...but can you fit a panel filter to the new Focus? I thought it had to be another cone like the standard one? Induction kits only give you around about a 2bhp increase but do give you a nice sporty sound when you put your foot down. I've heard that with a panel filter...you get better and smoother throttle response and acceleration but obviously you don't get the noise with a panel filter. There's many on the market though. K&N, Pipercross, Green Cotton and also one called DNX which looks good...but never heard if it is or not! At th
