  1. It is the immobiliser light. I think the point is why the light is flashing whilst the car is being driven. I can appreciate it will flash whilst the car engine is not running. What puzzles me is why does it now sometimes flash? Only sometimes...and I cannot work out a pattern of what causes it. On mine after a mile or two it ceases to flash. Or If I turn off the engine and restart it doesn't flash.
  2. Mine has the same issue .....anybody....please I have had no work done on mine....I just noticed it a few days ago
  3. very simple................as it usually is. The socket top or front part was not quite seated hence poor connection. Obvious really...............but at least I'm equal to Mrs 33q.........and she won't read this!!
  4. I fitted the aux lead connector yesterday. Plugged my IPOD in and it sounds awful. A sort of warbling sound. I have checked all the connections and fiddled the wires for bad joints etc .. no change. Tried the IPOD in Mrs 33q new Mini Cooper....................used the same lead ... perfect I'm not sure what is worst the sound or her taking the mickey Any ideas?
  5. I just emailed the address on the website. Received a perfect english reply and sorted the payment by credit card. All very easy. to fit... remove the screws ... beneath a cover in the rearmost try of the console. Put the new armrest in place screwiing into the original holes with longer bolts. It could be removed without any trace. I'm short... only 5 feet 5inches and I find it really comfortable.
  6. I bought one of these for my Focus Sport. It cost around £85 delivered direct from Italy. Last June there were no UK agents. I think the quality is very good. It looks as though its a factory option. I find it very comfortable and so do my passengers. I do mega miles and last week I had a well fed colleague in the passenger seat who used it to fidget around. No harm done to the unit. It lifts out of the way if you want but I always leave it down.
  7. I have just fitted mud flaps to my mark2. One off side rear went on really easily. I did have to drill a new hole but managed to fit it without jacking. The other rear was a pig. Had to jack the car, jiggle the screws in but both rears look good. Now the front!!. the nearside looks fine, fiddly to fit but managed to get the silly serrated clip on. The off side front is on but there is a big gap between the wing and the flap itself. Anyone had problems in getting the flap close up to the wing? And if so how did you resolve it. Thanks in advance.
  8. Sandicliffe did the service today. No problem and they knocked about £13 for not changing the filter.
  9. So do I leave the filter in? I think I should thanks for your quick response
  10. Can anyone tell me if the 12,500 (first) service includes an air filter change. My six month old 1.8 TDCI sport is in tomorrow and I'm not sure if I need to tell them not to ditch my K and N Thanks in advance
  11. I really wanted one of these but the price difference of a Zetec over the sport was too much for so little I really miss a temp guage in this weather. You must need a display and a new stalk.Do you need sensors and a new ecu? Come on guys if you know if it can be done and how much I'd be tempted
  12. I have the Wood Company one that I fitted to my Sport about 2 months ago. It's a superb product really fits well etc and i find no problem with the Handbrake
  13. I bought an after market armrest from http://www.woodcompany.com/fordpagenewfocus.htm No connection etc. I'm well pleased aboy £80 from Italy in 5 days. Quality and fit superb
