rear power outlet? I thought that was for estate cars only? Where did you find that? Got any pics?

You must be lucky mate, I just plugged mine in and the xenons did not come on and the levellers didn't work either. Guess I need to fudge about with the wiring :(

dave6202uk, do you know what the finis codes are of the mirrors you have got installed? and are they heated? I have found that there are lots of variations on the mirrors. Whether they are: POWERED HEATED INDICATOR LAMP POWERFOLD it's soo confusing..

So what's the difference between the fiesta mirrors you have now and the crashrepair ones you ordered off the internet and were working with for the powerfold mod? is it down to compatibility with the relay?

funky! I like them as long as the install is neat and the wires are not showing... any idea how you will do it?

Cheers Dave, and how do the powerfold mirrors work? With a button or the locking / unlocking of the car? Any additional wiring / relays? I'd love to see a video of them working.

Dave, do you have any prices / part numbers for the fezza mirrors? and how do they work? with a switch or with the locking / unlocking of the car? :? Also, (I think i have asked you think before) youer xenons, did you just plug them straight in and they worked? no need for ANY wires to be moved?

I find first thing (when cold) it's sometimes difficult to go from 1st to 2nd. Disengaging 1st is easy, but 2nd is notchy and sometimes I need to double the clutch.

Shouldn't 1st and Reverse gears only be selected when the car is stationary? You aren't trying to select 1st when the car is still moving are you?

I have always had one major question / problem with the sat navs provided by the car makers compared to say a TomTom device. The maps are never updated as much, and what about points of interest? can these be uploaded? I doubt it cos it's a un-writable DVD? Same goes for speed cameras? It's just not very customisable is it?
