  1. Thanks Jo, good advice. I think that Ford's warranty doesn't cover wear and tear items after 12 months. Apparantly, poor interior build quality is classed as wear and tear in my dealers eyes! But I will try another dealer next time. Cheers
  2. Tony - I think all Focus's have the same colour green dials and red needles (not sure about the ST??)
  3. I've fitted the Xenon upgrade bulbs which are supposed to be 70% brighter and fully road legal. Can't really notice much difference driving, but the sheep definately run faster as I drive towards them   As for fitting, put your hand under the front bumper and you'll feel the clip behind the fog lamp. It's easier to read how to fit them via your car manual than read my instructions
  4. Aren't they the same eye lids that Bet Linch used to wear on Coronation Street?
  5. Nice one - tinted windows look excellent, pity they can't be done on the front side windows - but for £150, I could buy 600 pairs of Matalan sunglasses AND get the tinted effect on all windows 8) 8)
  6. This is my first Ford (previously been a whizzpopper fruitcake), but if Ford don't improve their warranty scheme, it'll be the last one I have. I love my Focus, but the warranty is pants. I've had a couple of minor things go wrong with my car (ie, rattles mostly), but because the car was outside it's 1st year warranty, they wouldn't repair it. whizzpopper would have done it without any fuss. Come on Ford, pull your socks up you miserable bunch!
  7. I remember seeing a thread on here where someone had changed their dash lights to blue, and it looked the dogs nuts. Blue definately looks cools, where-as green is a bit too 'Land Rover' for me
  8.   - I'll post the mod detail in the next day or two, once I've had chance to look at the wiring colours for you (wouldn't want to tell you to connect the wrong wires as you stand and watch your car go up in flames)
  9. Now you're getting sloppy (lol) - Which bodykit and wheels are you after?
  10. Spark - Tony's car looks good - he's the man!! :multi:
  11. If you buy a Ghia or Titanium, you'll get them as standard fit. But, if like me, you're poor and buy a mere Zetec model, you'll spend hours on ebay buying Ghia and Titanium parts for a couple of quid. Please promise me you won't buy any tacky wood trim bits, or we'll have to stop chatting, and ask you to join the OAP forum
  12. Hiya mate - If you look at your headliner above your sunvisors, you'll notice that there is already a recess ready to take the lights. Then, simply use a pencil to faintly draw a template and CAREFULLY use a stanley knife to cut a hole in your headlinging. It's easy, providing your take your time and don't balls it up, otherwise you'll be looking at a new headlining!! It took me about half an hour to fit both lights. If you need more instructions, let me know
  13. Just read my brochure again (I keep it under my pillow for days like today  ), and it looks like you get rear discs on a 1.6 if you specify ESP, same on the latest 2007 model range. I can sleep again.
  14. Really?? Is you're a Ti-VCT? Have I been stitched up like a kipper?
  15. Whats EBC green stuff ones? Are they performance pads or someting sexy??? One thing that really cheeses me about Ford is that they only fit rear discs to the higher engine Focus's. Here I am with a sporty-ish Zetech which comes complete with sports seats, sports suspension, sports bits-n-bobs, but rear brake shoes as once fitted to John Waynes horse drawn carriage. If you buy an Astra/Golf etc you get rear discs! I'll bet a 1968 Trabant has rear discs for chuff sake. I'll also bet that Ford's buttock cheeks are so tight the company squeakes to the American anthem every time it pops anothe
  16. Mine clatters slightly for about 10 seconds when starting from stone cold, I'm assuming it's just whilst the oil gets round the engine? And the mpg seems reasonably good (you should actually get a slightly higher mpg in cold weather compared to warm weather). :D
  17. :D tut tut - I do hope you're not implying anything bad Mr Yorkie79 and TDCI Sno? Besides, I've heard that they have great rave parties in hell. So I've bought a front row ticket...
  18. S8N - Eh up fella, I'm still here!
  19. If you take my bird out for a few years, and let her drive, you'll think your near misses were nothing more than minor irritations!  PS - And after a few years, don't worry too much about bringing her back, you can keep her. I'll even give you cashback as an incentive. And the penalty points she's racked up for me so far...
  20. There's a new type of rear parking sensor thats available in 2007. AND it guarantees not to damage the back bumper ever again. AND it includes installation. AND it's free... It's called "Dont Ever Let My Bird Drive My Car Again, Especially Near Anything In Asda". Job Done!!
  21. I think a picture of my mum would look cool hanging from the blank plate
  22. I spotted the blue letters on your gear knob! Now that's taking bling to a whole new level
  23. It should fit fine in a Transit, as long as it has the AUX button. I've got a unit from a Fiesta ST in mine, as it's the same unit anyway. And if that makes any sense, I'll eat my own arms on the town hall steps!
