  1. 1st: Plastic primer can be bought from Halfords however ford can offer the correct type of plastic primer in a similar way to the paint spray tin. 2nd: Any sandpaper just will not do. You could cancel yourself out if it is too strong or if its not strong enough, again wasting your time and energy. 800 wet and dry works well and i recomend this as i have done it, However... wear some gloves otherwise you will find you're fingers are missing you're prints and feel horrible.
  2. You do realise that it is possible to get the top jobbie for a similar price to the ST and RS with the rear doors on and just add the bodykit? Ford might be silly enough to add the same loom and you can add bits to it as we all seem to do on here. A word about that fancy new gearbox... sounds cool. A mate of mine has just bought a 57reg zetec with it and hey really rated it.
  3. I suppose it could be worse. Look what the YANKS have.... although i like the interior in the second picture.
  4. Remember to keep us up to date as we care about helping each other and like to know that all FFOC'ers are ok. Take care bigbeere
  5. Back to the topic of yes or no. I think i have decided going on this picture. Not sure why it is Aquarious as a few of you already agreed that this colour was not going to exist on a new breed of focus. Tittle of the pic will be: OLD MANIE AND I DON'T LIKE IT WITH CRAPPY LAST CENTURY BLING (i mean Chrome).
  6. Kev mate, that don't mean you can forget about us. We still wanna hear about the Mondy. That and the Focus are the best ford have to offer. Good luck mate.
  7. I agree. Welcom to FFOC by the way. Also if you go with the idea of replacing the strip with the parking sensors, try not to get ford to do it. It is a really easy job with non ford sensors. Plus if you are ok with trying things for yorself then althe better. Mikeyg and myself are just two of the many people who do some of the jobs on our cars ourself and im sure he will agree... Its fun, pleasing when finished and gives us a sense that we are becoming part of our beloved Focus.
  8. SORRY THE LINK DIDN'T WORK... HERE'S ANOTHER WAY TO ACCES THE VIDEO. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/921212/ne ... ord_focus/

  10. Just wanted to point out that the Maximum Rev limit (Red Arrow Pointing Up) is switched with the Seatbelt warning signal on the ST dials. I know this as i have made the face swap on my Titanium.
  11. Cool. I will try that. It is a shame they dont come on with the key fob and then when you leave and lock the car, they don't just automatically stay on for a few seconds.
  12. I want the lights to stay on for a few seconds when i leave and lock the car and vice versa, but i already have the Titanium with the auto lights anyway. I had this on my MGZT and loved that. It is smart, but im with Mikey, cutting the wires is alright when you are deffinately sure, but dont mess up anything you don't need too.
  13. Hey people... hope you had a nice christmas and have a happy new year... i will be working late on the K2 bus, but hey... It's 30pound an hour. A lot of the time my mk2 TDCI 1.8 Titanium seems to really vibrate in second. The buttons on the Sony head unit seem to rattle and there is also a rattle between the seats. I have also noticed a creaky suspension system that i cannot locate. When i jacked it up this morning to put my ST wheeels on, the creaking was out of this world. When i jacked up the front from the jacking point, the rear was off the ground as well. Is the suspension supposed to
  14. Shame we can't see what the discs look like with them. I love to see the brakes when alloys wheels are on... it just looks that little meaner.
  15. Bumpers are usually swapped for the existing bumpers useing screws. Sideskirts, front and rear aprons and spoilers are what usually needs glue. Some bodykits require a little adjustment to get right, ie some may not have the screw holes already where they should be. Good luck with that, i'm sure you'll be ok.
  16. Post this in the Ask Tezza section... he's the parts dood. he'll sort you out.
  17. I did not realize that activation was that cheap. Gonna do it then as i got the parts.
  18. Yes and you can believe it... it happened to me too, and as MikyG says although i will be more careful when putting the ST One on
  19. I have recently dicovered that there is in fact a 1.8 TDCI 6 Speed gearbox for the New Mondeo and New Galaxy. These are both 125psi (whatever that means) but i wanna know if it can be fitted to my 1.8 TDCI 115psi? This has been bugging me for days now as i have a really nice gear knob with the number 6 on it and i have to look at it each time.
  20. Going on any pictures of either the ST or standard 3/5 door hatch, Does anybody think Ford have finally put the reverse light in the new rear clusters and have only the fogs in the bumper? Looks like it to me and that if it is the case is bloody fantastic and mind... About bloody time. Any coments on that...
  21. I have a diesel, Thats my question... So Gumbo, you are saying it is possible... I only wish. 1.8 titanium TDCI with a 2L TDCI 6 Speed. Q. Would there be any complications with changing them over assuming i could get one cheap and in good order.
  22. Yes BUT DO YOU KNOW? Sai. You seem like you are assuming.
  23. NEW FOCUS INFORMATION Dynamic new Focus revealed at Frankfurt In a world debut, the new Ford Focus was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2007. The Focus, revitalized inside and out, is sure to turn heads and win hearts. Kinetic Design – Energy in Motion Ford’s ‘kinetic Design’ direction is bold and modern.
