Hi Chaps Just read this post. Order mt ST3 Thursday and although I requested the keyless option I was told there have been problems with it and could cause a delay beyond March so didn't go for it in the end. My car is going to be an ST3 in blue, with DVD navigation and park assist. Could of had car in January without the sat nav, but thought this would be a good option to have and also wanted to have the new reg on the car, hence the March delivery.

Sorry but that must be the wrong car then, because that is a black car in the picture.

Ordered! Selling my ST now as I think I've got a good price for it and not sure what it'll be worth in Feb/March. Going to bank the money ready for my new car and drive round in a banger for a bit, something I can use and abuse then sell and not loose any dosh on.........only problem is I'll have to go back driving a shed I reckon. Thinking old(ish) gti golf/XR2 etc. At least I'll really appreciate the new car when I get it!! :wink:

Yes, but wondered if there are anymore out there. Pre-ordered mine today. Going for ST3 in blue with park assist and sat nav. Works out at £17,661. Could have it for January but looking to get for the 06 reg. The sat nav option pushes it back those extra few weeks. Mike.

Hi Chaps Made a difficult decision yesterday. Had the opportunity to buy an 03 plate RS with 7k on the clock for £15k or wait for the new ST and get it on Privilege. Gone for the ST3 with sat nav, park assist and key free system in panther black. Yet to order but will put a deposit down soon so I am one the first on the road. Having owner an RS before thought great car, but the new ST should be a cracker, if not as exculsive. Questions are............1 - Does anyone know of any shows or display ST's that I can view prior to the launch weekend in January? 2 - Where there are more pictures,

Easy chaps, said I thought the price would be about £16.k. I realise that the Privilege discount will be 20%, so the higher price is probably right. Won't know yet until James gets back to me. Just after some reassurances I guess that the new ST is the way to go. The new ST will have more power, warranty, toys etc, but the styling isn't as good as the Mk1 in my opinion. Given the price of a good low mileage RS and the new ST I am thinking ST but....................

Hi Chaps I'm just waiting for `James the Cat' to give me a Privilege price for the new ST. Was hoping to get another RS, but finding one in mint condition with low mileage and no mods is harder then I thought. Therefore going to order a new ST spec 3 with DVD sat nav etc, towards the end of this year. Price should work out to be about £16.5k and a good second RS is that. Am I making the right choice do you think? I know the new ST won't be as hard edged as an RS (owned No 4494 before) but I hope the new car will perform well and have enough toys. Ordered mine 19th January and still no build date. Black 2l titanium with ESP, adaptive lighting, 17' alloys, interior styling pack and rear park assist. I understand that you cant now have the lighting and ESP together.

Looks good. Still haven't got a build date for my Titanium. Has yours got the lowered sports suspension? Mike.

My Granndad ordered his around 9th January. I also ordered one but not until the 19th. We are getting them from different garages and have gone for the Titanium with ESP & Adaptive lights etc. Granddad's garage have told him that Fords are saying that they now cant do this option combination. Mine haven't got back to me yet. His build date was 11 Feb and he expected to take delivery around same time in March. As yet he has no new build date. I was told that mine could be anything upto a May delivery. :?

Agree unless you sell car privatley or feel the discount (privilege) and use/enjoyment of the options is worth it, which I do.

Result, well happy then. I want mine now though!!!!

My local garage said I had choosen the most options out of anyone so far :wink: Gone for: 2l Titantium 3dr in black 17' Alloys Adaptive lighting ESP Parking assist Sports suspension Interior styling pack Been used to this on other cars, except for lighting system, although have had xenons. Lucky as I qulify for privilege prices. I may keep this car for longer than I usually do (less than a yr) and as used mk 2focus will be sought after in a year or so one with all the goodies should hold it's price well and I get the enjoyment in the mean time. The DVD sat nav is top notch. Mt Granddad

Hi Chaps Have ordered mine and am just waiting for it now. Long shot here but has anyone got a 3dr Titanium in black? I really want to see a picture of one. Have seen a 5dr Ghia in black and it looked the B*******. Have gone for Sports suspension and 17' alloys as well. Needed to `boy it up' after coming from an RS!

What your spec, model etc and I'll let see if I can see why there is a difference on the prices. Must admit I'm chuffed with what I'm getting for the price. Only a few weeks to wait though!!!!
