  2. this is worrying * * * *, I've been advising someone to get a derv CMAX over a 1.8 petrol...has anybody got anymore info on this fault!? :?
  3. Definitely... but what's the clutch rated to, will it slip!?
  4. That's good news, doesn't sound like anyone has had this cutting out problem then, which can only be a good thing :D
  5. Thanks for the responses guys, I'm sourcing this info for someone else, who is in the market for a 1.8 zetec - have found one at Motorpoint for a shade over £10k http://www.motorpoint.co.uk/vehicle_det ... icle=52707 Is that a good deal? 8)
  6. I've read that the diesels have a problem with cutting out, kind of like the MKI focus when iit first came out - is this true!? IS this a problem across the range or just the diesels, any experiences/info would be appreciated 8)
  7. That's VAG/Revo figures, fantastic! I know someon who is thinking of a C-MAX this news will be quickly passed on............
  8. You also need to drive more than 15k a year before you reep the benefits
  9. what's with the side repeater AND the wingmirror indicator?
  10. I would opt for the 2.0, isn't it about ~£500 more and so much more powerful
  11. Not everyone wants a smelly, noisy diesel in their life. Petrol has - Better handling (lighter front end) - better braking (lighter car) - nicer engine note - quicker off the line - more of a drivers car as well as all the other stuff mentioned above (price, servicing, image)....... each their own and all that.
  12. The petty is also cheaper to start with, we've had this convo before - the diesel is cost effective for peeps who drive more than ~15k a year.
  13. There is no doubting Black is the best colour when clean, no other colour can match the striking looks of a black motor when fully polished up... the downside is the constant cleaning that is required, lol... worth it IMO :D
  14. Definitely Panther black, without a shadow is the best colour when clean
  15. I think it is a feature on the Sport model upwards (sport, zetec, ghia, titanuim); as the only optional extra seems to be Xenons..
  16.  Strange, simple ideas first ---- Does the c-max have a boot release on the fob? Could you have accidentally caught that with other keys whilst turning it over...
  17. ...sorry nodded off there for a sec - your car is looking mint; erm... that's bout it.
  18. Do you know if it has been revised from the MKI or not?
  19. I should have been more specific, I meant what type of gearbox, for example IB5, MTX...
  20. Does anyone know what gearbox is fitted in the MKII 2.0 Petrol fOCUS?
  21. 2.0 Black - 3 door - colour coded - 18s - i wud take it
  22. can u keep sending them back until u get a mkII?
