  1. Sorry, but ESP is beneficial in a 1.0 Micra - power is not the issue. As I'm not a rally driver with reactions like a ninja cat, I opt for cars with ESP.
  2. I almst ruined a perfectly good monitor with sugary tea when I read 78MPG!
  3. i think there's a bloomin good chance the wiring is there but i wouldnt be spending a penny extra on something that should have been there in the 1st place, get them to fsort it
  4. ah i'd get them to fit what should have been there in the first place then, the heated front screen is an absolute must
  5. i agree, get the £500 cashback and do this now or down the line, spare wheel was swapped for the can of get me home across the new ST range wasn't it!?
  6. yar, he's just CnP'ed off the webpage link - Ford still haven't got round to changing their website! edit: lol
  7. Three STs ST ST2 ST3 http://www.ford.co.uk/ns7/foc_c307/foc_ ... st/-/-/-/-
  8. i had these as the standard boots on the ESP and I thought they were great, perhaps there was some diesel on the road - although, there are stickier tyres out there, i thought the michies were a good all rounder (expensive tho)
  9. 10secs on the NR is a pony comparison unless u can do it back to back, with the same driver and with the same conditions although, i was thinking (!) that the ST was going to be better behaved than the RS on the road, for the general driver at least, due to the diff giving a bit of uneven trajectory on the uneven roads.
  10. anything possible with some $$$s take a 3.0 NA engine and create 700BHP+...
  11. yeah 30-50 bhp for a focus NA engine is a bit extreme (within my budget at least), expect around 20+ bhp with chip/induction/ehxaust tho. in all honesty, if you want a faster car, get one to satrt with, preferably with a turb so u can chip it for relatively cheap thrills
  12. what annoys me more, and ive seen it quite often, is those same people sometimes manage to put their rear fogs on at the same time, and no matter how much u try and tell them, they are totally oblivious to it; seriously p'sses u off after a while
  13. Well good ole Tiff Needel didn't think that way, ESP will react a trillion times quicker than any driver could, I think it's an amazing bit of kit, because let's face it 99.9% of us are NOT racing drivers. I do agree that any driver aid should not invoke over confidence though
  14. should be fine, landis go through ok, watch ya aerial tho
  15. yes, i like that in silver, things blend better (other than the bumper mismatch) like the ST badge on the side, fog lights surrounds, and the seat colour is less garish (sp) than some of the other colours, nice pics, i'll have two pls :D
  16. £125 for a filter 'n oil change!? that's crazy!!!, i get this for an old xreg for £40 at ford, what gives? (and that's only because i value a stamp every year, change it myself at 5k)
  17. bah, didn't evo time the FRS in at 5.9sec to 60, that's a good 1/2sec quicker than book - it's all a bit of a laugh really, i'm glad u are not relying on this poor test for your purchase.
  18. are we still talking ST225 and not ST170!? fair enough the clios are light but i've not seen a standard 0-60 book time quicker than a ST225 or FRS for that matter... not that i give 2* * * *s about 0-60 times
  19. ......Computer says no.....   * * * * fraud, get it done through ur ig only cost me 30pund
  20. blue, no black, nah, blue, definitely blue, ermm maybe red tho :?
  21. bloody 'ell it does look good in red too - why can't they just supply it in one colour :P
  22. those silver fog light surrounds  dont look too bad on the front but stick out like a soar thumb on the rear colour wise, im lending towards the performance blue now
