Lol same here - my '06 1.6tdci reallllly needs a 6th gear..pushing 90/100mph (obviously on a private road :) ) it seems it would be best stuck into 6th gear instead of screaming its head off with the high revs in 5th B

Why dont you have a bash on advertising it on autotrader? I have a MK2 1.6 TDCI Sport - so its pretty much a base model. I've added Ford 18" Alloys + all the chrome bits inside the car and the adaptive lights. I put it on autotrader as I was getting rid of it for the new M2.5 (but due to this CREDIT CRUNCH, i've decided to leave it for the time being) .. ..anyway, i advertised to for 6 weeks and instead of taking the advert off I thought i'de leave it to see how much interest i would get. Baring in mind its almost the base model, i was asking for £8000 o.n.o .. I had loadsss of inte

Hi all, I currently have 18" Ford Alloys coupled with 'Continental Sport 2 225.40 R18 92Y' tyres. I've been looking over ebay for some new matching tyres (as they are pretty expensive!!) - Just out of interest whats the difference between CONTI SPORT 2 & 3 - Apart from the price lol? Thanks all, B

The glow plug light goes On and Off vertually instantly on mine - maybe you miss it. Mines an 06 1.6tdci B

Haha I fully agree, it spoils the finish! I've heard it stops the buckle from banging against the handbrake (doesn't make a noise) - Silly I know.. :shock: B

When i first got my MK2 i went to Stratford Up on Avon (last year) the floods... omggg.. it was just touching the number plate... yes i was VERY worried.. just kept it at HIGH revs and slowly driven though it.. picking up speed slightly the water was splashing up and over the WING MIRRORS !!!!! Yes it was stupid to go though it, but that was the only way home!!.. + the other way was twice as bad! :) Overall the only thing affected was my Horn.. doesn't seem to be like it was before.. very high pitched and only works when it wants to ! I was very lucky.. B!

Hi all, Over the last few weeks i've been thinking long and hard about getting the new Ford Focus. I've been on the Ford website to 'Create your own Ford' .. I then came across a model called 'Zetec - S', now I thought that model was for the fiesta. The Focus Zetec - S has a nice body kit do it (looks like the ST).. But after typing it into google, there seems to be no show of a Focus MK2.5 Zetec - S!? Any ideas people? Cheers, B

Hi there, The noise seems to be coming from the steering, as im turning the wheel left and right.. I did check the tyres JUST incase.. but nothing was there. Any more suggestions? Cheers all, B

Hi all, I've noticed since the car came back from Ford to have a "computer update" last month, that when I started it up and started to turn the steering wheel (idle or moving) it made a faint clicking noise - turning either way, left or right. After a week or so, the noise suddenly went! But now, if I drive with the radio off and windows closed, I can hear this noise while driving - even driving down a straight road, something is clicking, it seems to get faster and slower. Its a MK2 TDCI Sport 27k miles - No difference in steering at all or anything else, just that annoying noise!

Yes, I'm still getting that bumper.. At the mo, just the cash holding me back on getting it! - Seen the Chrome grille and fog surrounds at Ford Fair and love them - expensive though. B
