problem is now, fuses are fine. So leaving work early and putting standard lights back on see if they are ok...

All sorted, looks like fords have given me the wrong manual. Luckily someone at work has same as me but the right manual. Heres for reference

Got in the car last night... Dipped lights aren't working, can hear the relays clicking. Checked the fuses this morning after buggering around with that dodgy fuse box in the passanger foot well. Then look at the manual to see which fuse i need, 60 & 61! I thought they'd be on the same fuse owell, so it might not be fuses? But i'll check any way, looking at the fuse box all the numbers range from 100+???? HELP!

no, i ended up selling it for £100

link isnt loading for me, but i bought a cheapy 2din from fordfair. £350 powered it up, i didnt get the gps card u need, also for the bluetooth thats an extra module, the resolution on the screen was crap and also there was heavy inteferance on the speakers

pull the eyebrow off first then the lower bit, two screws and out pops the whole unit, you can only buy the unit from fords not just bulbs Oh and it will never sit right again :lol: also watch out for the plastic clips as they can break

doh, that looks like its just the aux extender, which i already have :roll:

Ok i have a ipod, i have used a jack to jack to hook it into the aux port. Having the ipod on loudest, and normally my cd's i wont turn above vol20 as the sub will smash the car apart. But i can go up to vol30 with the ipod and its seems very low. Any ideas?

I have exactly the same thing as you mate, then when i do push the on button i get a heavy thud from the sub. Also sometimes i get in the car and the time/date is "--/--/-- --:--" but turn HU on then off and it comes back.

Sometimes it pops out of gears for me :?

If i where you, once you have soldered them, have a little voltage supply with resitior, and test the led before moving on, just to double check you have it right and not blown it before putting it all back together

Do the wipers run off relays? When i have it on intermittant they seem alot louder clicking than when i first got the car?

Yes, you will need the right ISO lead, and also a head unit that allows the control.

X types has auto up, knowing that the x type is a mondeo, you maybe able to go down that route.

as title really how much are they worth?
