  1. Hey all, Drive a 2.0 16v 55plate, was flicking through the trip computer earlier at the petrol station, resetting everything when I stumbled accross "Steering" options or something? It had 'Normal' selected, but the other options were 'Comfy' and 'Sport', what are these and what do they do? Thanks!
  2. There's a couple here, http://www.lockwoodinternational.co.uk/ ... -c514.html Actually, much prefer the focus shaped one! - Perkins
  3. Meh, my car cost 8 grand. I was just wandering if the mounts are in place for the units, and it it uses the same sensors as the ABS? Surely then all you need is a few more wires and a control box? - Perkins
  4. As the topic really, was wandering if there is a way to retro fit ESP to my Zetec Climate (only has ESP, no T/C either). Would be nice to turn this on and off too! Thanks, - Perkins
  5. I'm after some Stainless steel that say "Focus" on them, are these the ones ford have? Sorry to hijack mate! - Perkins
  6. Zetec / ST Headlights are the same, and yup that's them with the black backing! They are the mutts! Can't wait to start doing my ST Replica work! When I go back to work!
  7. ^^^ Ditto! Will be buying one of this to start off my ST conversion in the new year! - Perkins
  8. With my 2.0 Petrol I average between 36-40mpg, that's with extra urban, and motorway on the 36mpg, and motorway on the 40mpg. She runs on vPower, and it only costs me £42 to fill her up. She's a 55 reg, and doesn't have a patch of rust anywhere. Afraid that's all I can help you with as I haven't driven the diesel. - Perkins
  9. My 55reg 2.0 litre is exactly the same, sometimes comes to life, splutters everywhere, and sometimes wanders to it's death, or just about catches itself. Perhaps the ICV?
  10. Hey all, How the heck do I get to the rear speakers on my Mk2 3dr Focus? I can't see anyway to remove the trim! Had a search and couldn't find anything! Also posted this in the Interior section. Thanks, Perkins
  11. Yeah I'm not sure of the actual cost, but I'd assume the difference between my cost and yours, I had to have a new alloy and tyre as well, hit the curb sideways perfectly after coming off a roundabout.
  12. Hey, I recently did exactly the same as you, and have about the same damage! I went through the insurance (much cheaper for me in the long run!), total repair cost was £2700. My car drives better than it did before, but I put this down to the fact the car was on a JIG, did your car get put onto a jig? It's quite expensive, and can take a day or two to complete, but really does assure your body is in alignment. Hit my car at the nearside front as well! - Perkins
  13. An I drive it to see that look on your face again!
  14. Defeniantly! I drive a TDDI 1.8, and I drove a standard mk2 1.6 the other day, needless to say I was happy to get back into my car! Yesterday I drove Jays (slackers) round a car park and I do love the deep throaty noise it broadcasts, but it also had a bit of extra grunt around the 3k, 3.5k mark, and I took it all the way to the red line! (probably my fault he's got crap mpg on the trip now!)
  15. I gave slackers a nice thrashing round the car park yesterday (more so than he does), and it made a lovely noise around 3k revs, but also quite good boost there too! Not as much as I got from my Turbo, but still fun! ... in the wet! XD
