Yeah I've seen those, I'm humming and harring! Would love Eibach but @ that price it's just too much, and then there's the £300 ones... which are a bit more affordable! But which way to sway! Save up for months on the Eibachs, or bite the bullet and get the cheapo!?

I've got the Eibach lowering springs and tbh they haven't dropped it enough, I really think the focus deserves to have its wheels sat more comfortably in the arches! (not in the arches but a bit more snug than it is at the moment). Thanks for the link I'll take a looksy!

Hey all, I'm looking for some Coilovers for my focus (3dr 2.0l petrol). Has anyone here got any coilovers? If so what make? What was price, and where'd ya' get them from? Need to drop mine a bit now as it's starting to get hard to see up in the clouds! Ta

I've got this in mine. Came with the cage (doesn't fit), also had to saw off the original mounting points for the stereo to get it in, then border went on. It 'fits' doesn't sit as snug as I'd like, and can just slide out. Kick * * * * stereo mind, I pushed the ipod cable through the back of the glove box, works a treat!

I got a flat head in there and fiddled around until I got the lock mechanism in place, would be worth trying that! - Perkins

I think when I got my NGK they were already pre-gapped, so I slammed them in, i'm assuming this would have been 1mm then?

Of course you do! You're making it look like an ST which is a far more diserable car than a 1.6 zetec (or w.e).

3 door or 5? 5 Door has screws in the handle, and grab handle, then around the edge of the doors. 3 door has this only at the front, and the rear quarter is clipped into place all the way around and slides off with a bit of force.

Looks like DMBs work again! If so, yup it's a sticker just sticks over the top, looks great and the only way you'll tell if it's a sticker is if you know!

My 55' plate came with his, clips onto the bumper and chassis, keeps it tidier, but some stuff still finds a way in! Am sure you could grab it from a ford dealership! - Perkins

Nope, I got a pair off a Ford Galaxy, my wheels went on the Galaxy fine (Zetec 16"'s), but the ones that came off the galaxy would not fit on my (too much distance between the holes, just). Saying that, it was the 'older' shape galaxy, still a 5 stud, so may work with the newer model.

Get the genuines! I got fiddled the other week, but they have to do for now! Picked up a set of 4, however I was having a hard time getting the locking wheel nut in on one of them, span it around and low & behold, no genuine ford stamp, however the other three had (I checked 2 prior to picking up). So have a wheel that I can't use my locking wheel nut on! Going to buy one off ebay as soon as a single pops up, other than the nut not fitting in though, it's identical, but still stay away!

Yes, it even works on the mk1/1.5 w/o the full trip computer. It's the same commands for both variants of the car (mk1 & 2).

Does the trip computer not tell you? Put the key in, hold durn the trip 'reset' button, start the car, keeping the reset button pressed, wait about 4 seconds and it should say "TEST", hitting the reset button will flick through until you get to DTC codes, at the moment mine says 'Nothing', see what yours says. Whilst we're on the subject, my car's been fine as of late, keeping it running on high octane v-power, and a blast every now and then. Used to have the starting problems, not seen them for about 3 months now! 2.0 55plate.

Hehe, on my 2.0l I get about 28-34mpg on town, and 41-44mpg on motorways. :D

Funny thread! Some guy flashed me the other day for having my fogs on, he was flashing everyone for it! Funny thing was visibility, about 5ft in front of the car, no joke! Was like driving through a cloud, was scared to death of someone going into the back of me!

K & N are pretty east to fit, I had to buy some 10mm pipe when fitting mine for the breather, but that was because it was missing from the box! - Perkins
