quite low, as far away from the steering wheel as i can comfortably be with the seat pretty upright OH did his back in the other day and he is finding it difficult to find a comfy position too

Mine had them - the small ones with the ford logo but its a titanium, i swapped them for the proper big sill protectors though as the paint was still getting scratched with the standard small ones

The Aux sockets are very popular - Ford actually sell them for the Fiesta but they fit the focus as long as the stereo has the AUX button - factory fitted ones go in the glove box but i know people who have drilled the whole in one of the button blanks for heated seats etc and just plug it in there - saves having to open the glove box all the time!

I have the ford one in mine - and a dog guard on top of it - perfect fit of course being the ford one

Went up the the lakes for the weekend with the folks and the dog and all my mums luggage (so read into that, half the house AND the kitchen sink) got one of the fod dog gaurds before i went that split the boot down the middle, and actually managed to cram all my mums junk in one side, the dog in the other with his own space So for once, although i have a rather muddy car i dont have dog hair all over it! On a slightly more annoying note, some idiot has dented my door, looks like a shopping trolly or another car door and everyone i see keeps pointing out to me i have a dent in my door! Ho

lol - it was the first thing i did with my old 1.6 because the dealer told me it was a 100 and it wasnt it was the 115.... outside in the dark with the manual and a torch

If you look in the handbook there should be a diagram of the two engines - the 115 looks like the one above obviously

colbee i didnt mention that my TDCI has never really been on a long run except a trip 2 peterborough which wasnt that far whereas the petrol had been 2 scotland, devon etc bot a hell of a way from here Ive never used the super unleaded or the Ultimate diesel - admittedly i used morissons petrol and i use BP diesel just because i have a BP fuel card but only ever use the standard stuff My petrol had done 22k by the time i p/xd it

I get 45 mpg from my 2.0 TDCI but it does have 13,000 miles on the clock now Used to get about 36 from my 1.6 petrol

They are the same bulbs used in indicators (With orange lense) and brake lights so that should be the correct one

They are 12v 21w bulbs possibly 382 i believe although we dont go on bulb number like that - thats a clear one of course

Ello all - have been off sick for a few days with a damn ear infectio, general headache, tiredness and feeling lousy but thankfully feeling a bit better now and have tons of work to catch up on! but thought i would pop on and say hello I did feel a bit better for 5 mins over the weekend so added some of the nice shiny ford FOCUS scuff plates to my car as i noticed the sills were getting quite badly scratched but not done a lot else!

sorry im confused - the one on ecat would be the nice one as i say both of mine have had that one - they should be metal im sure although i will check tomorrow

I thought yours had the metal alloy? so its the other one thats had it replaced? i could also be going completely insane i will check with the techs tomorrow and see what they say!

Will have a look on my friends ST tomorrow but like i say i only see one listed on ecat for any of the foci / c-max - on both of mine its been a metal one (ghia and titanium) so i would say the plasticy one has possibly been replaced at some point?

Just had a quick look on ecat and i can only see one button which is for the focus and c-max part number never seems to have changed and there are no alternative parts that i can see so it could have been replaced?

aye but how much have you spent on upgrades that would have been on another model - or how much are you planning to spend?

Ah right didnt realise it was a 1.4 - it cost me £40 to change from my 1.6 to my 2.0 TDCI for a year! also upped the value of the car by about 5k and upped mileage from 6k to 15k for that

does the insurance really change depending on the model - sorry if thats a stupid question since ive had a focus ive always had a Ghia or Titanium so ive never done a quote on an LX or sport etc
