I drive a 1.8 petrol and get 30mpg although most of my driving is just pottering around towns

I never thought of that it could explain why both headlights are now on the same side and the indicator is on the roof.... :D

Well I went to see a SMART repairer got a decent quote but he said (among others) wait until later as sods law means you will get another scuff as soon as its done!! Guess what..... :shock: Yep some $%$"%ing silly b&*%h :evil: didnt see me on a roundabout and crunch same bumper but much worse. So I am pleased I took the advice. So another quote to get. luckely no injuries and seems to be going very ammicably. PS I am impressed with the bumper still in shape despite the other cars wing and door looking very dented and buckled..

I have just got some airgag friendly covers from Aldi £10.50 they look pretty good too (silver and black)

Yes thats the costly option first £75 of access and loss of care bonus at the end £200 If it has to be it has to be but if theres anything else I can do ??

I have touched a wall :oops: and have gouged my front bumper (coloured part) the main gouge is about 2x1 cms plus another scuff about the same size. my car is a motobility car and I would like to get it looking decent again. Any Ideas bareing in mind I am about skint and useless. :roll: (its moondust silver and they are on the passenger side bumper closeish to the wheel arch) Thanks in advance Ian

You have to remember forums like these are all about discusing problems. All cars have niggles. But I would say nearly all of us are happy with our Cmax's its just we cant be ar5ed to post about our everyday trouble free motoring.. :D

Might I suggest a leftfield option. The Gizmondo sat nav this is a copilot sat nav but also a game system and multi media player.(very handy sitting outside waiting for family etc) With car cradle it is around £230/240 I have just got one and love it. Ford dealers do stock them

Well I had my service and asked for the upgrade... What a differance acceleration is miles better no trouble pulling away It just feels better to drive allround :D :D not sure about MPG yet but will let you know when I get a few miles on. :wink:

My 1.8 petrol LX is due its first service on thursday should I specificly ask for this or will they just upgrade it anyway PS anything else I should ask for/demand

Plus the nature of forums people rarly are motivated to to post when everything is ok you either post to complain or to help other probs my Cmax is spot on by the way
