Patience and high gears are the key to economy - my car will pull from 25MPH in 5th and its :D at 30MPH. I found that "flooring" the throttle under 2kRPM gets you nowhere fast but gentle progressive pressure up to 2K gives a better overall progress. Once on the open road its "Driving Miss Daisy" all the time. This is a personal observation and not a criticism of anyone

Has anybody else noticed this?

 Is it not just an overflow to stop you over filling it :?: -
Speed was 60-70 mph, cruise on, sunroof open, aircon occasionally, and gentle throttle when needed  I know lots of people complain about the lack of low down power - me too when compared to my previous 2.0 Ghia but it has a plus side I find its easier to stick to the 30MPH limit when required to.

Sorry it's no consolation but I reckon my bumpers are spot on! -
Looking in spare wheel compartment to check the jack when I found a new grey glove. Have I been lucky or has everyone got one...seems strange only one though.

Looks terrific in red...saw a white estate today and it looked unbelievably boring :!:

Just noticed badges on boot out of alignment, will they remove and re-stick or do I have to get new ones :?:

I originally ordered mine from Allbrandsnew but when the sales confirmation came through I found out that all their cars are "pre-registered" so I cancelled. Also their delivery charge of £300...so I went back to Drivethedeal and got a "brand new" car, delivered and there was only about £50 difference.

Interesting both cars registered in Leeds but your location is Surrey is there a story to tell :?: Are they both running well and are you still enjoying them :?:

focusghia44 replied to tim.bishop's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
The "footrest" is the moulded shape in the very corner of the footwell next to the centre console. -
Looks like S 2.0 :?:

No footrest in my Ghia but the rear doors are the right way round and the phone compartment is very convenient 8) ***Moved carpet Mat and discovered "The Footrest" *** -
