Shame. I had the Ford 6 disc CD changer in my previous Ghia and now find the Sony MP3 not only better sounding but also a lot more convenient. Sorted into folders, with ID tags - finding and playing tracks couldn't be easier :D

Plus an extra pair of tweeters in the rear.

AFAIK the Eibach kit is (Dealer fit) different and separate from the Zetec suspension.

Welcome. I changed from a 2L Focus to the 1.6Ti-VCT...obviously down on power but it is smoother, quieter and more economical so I'm happy with it :)

Maybe totally wrong but I think "machined" wheels are cut from a billet and ordinary wheels are cast :?

According to Owners Guide it is hydraulic and shares the same master cylinder as the brakes. Is the fluid level OK? Guess but it could be the return spring that is creaking - if so a spot of oil may cure it.

Just try turning the steering wheel lock to lock without the engine running and that is your answer :!: Why would you want to disable the power steering :?:

Upgrading the standard head unit will not have the premium speakers as supplied with the factory fit option. How much that affects the sound quality I don't know.

IMO go for the 5 door - easier access and the 115 has better fuel economy :wink:

Did they change pollen filter? I was told by R/F that was service work and would have to go into dealership to be fitted :(

Yes I agree with that, however a 20" and 12" wheel using the same profile tyres would have a different circumference. My point is a manufacturer must offer a wheel/tyre combination where the circumference is more or less the same or as you say the gearing will be different and also the speedo accuracy http://www.rochfordtyres.co.uk/tyrecalc.asp :wink:

The circumference of any tyre size/wheel size combination has to be more or less the same or else the speedo will be inaccurate.

This mod has been evolving awhile now, firstly it was blue, which was OK but did not blend with the dash lighting. Next it was green, this was totally the wrong shade and was quickly scrapped. Now it is a standard water green LED and although it does not have the same “submarine effect” it does illuminate the storage area. It’s subtle rather than statement and it almost matches the night time interior illumination.

Using a high intensity LED fed from an ignition controlled source, threaded through the back of the centre console and wedged protruding from the top edge of the rubber sleeve. This illuminated the storage area and around the gear lever 8)

The important bit is AUTOMATIC just set and forget 8)
