Does anyone elses sit still or does there's go barmy? :lol: mine cant decided what im doing sometimes, it even says im getting 20MPG at 60mph 5th gear :lol: :lol: :lol: i only drive a 1.6tdci does anyone else have a bonkers display?

Averaging 49MPG at the mo in my 1.6TDCi and have 200 miles left in the tank 8) love diesels :twisted: mix of A, B and Motorways

a years warranty on leakage thats scandelous :shock: just went to feel the gap between the panels where the hatch hinges are and i couldnt get my finger nail in either so i think that rules that out

you sure you cant feel foam? on that picture of mine its left hand side and its right where the carpet meets the plastic trim just push your hand in and curve your fingers back around and you should feel it then :D i find it easier with your righty :lol: what do you mean by safety margin is this the 1 year for leaks? because i find that unnaceptable there is a 3 year warranty and it doesn spout that BS in the manual, the reason it is leaking because of a design defect or poor workmanship IE frauds fault so they should fix it barstewards :evil:

well if its right its right just cant see how it can ingress through those odd :lol:

hmmm looks like there could be a few causes of the problem and it doesnt sound like ford are too good at fixing it :roll: well i guess the best thing i can do is book it into ford while im at home and try and drag someone out to the car first to show them

i dont know how its getting through whethere its where the pins push into the bodywork, where the wiring loom is (doubt it quite well sealed) my theory is its through the screw holes either way its going in over christmas to get looked at :evil:

argh! i think i have found a water leak beind the rear lights! i dunno if its just me affected or if anyone else has been we had a bit of heavy rain this morning and when i popped out earlier to put something in the boot i lifted it up carefully because i new water would shoot down the 'gulley' between the light and the hatch rim, and indeed it did, a lot of it :shock: i then thought 'hmmm i hope it isnt leaking in' (see pictures for more detail) so i pushed the trim back slightly on the left hand side under where the light is (the right hand side was firmly attatched so why not this side!

absolutly disgusting service to right he should get this service fully refunded, and id demand to speak to the service manager as well

mine takes forever to get midway but i put that down to it being a diesel

they told me you couldnt get the 1.8 tdci engine anymore what a load of REMOVED BY ADMIN (THERE REALLY IS NO NEED FOR THAT SORT OF LANGUAGE) that was :roll: meh im happy with me 1.6tdci :D

i noticed something odd today when i was out with a friend of mine today she couldt lock all the doors of the car just by engaging the lock on her side inside the cabin :shock: now thats odd because in my old MK1 she could push lock on her side and the whole car would lock, the manual isnt very clear so has this feature been disabled? its bloody stupid if it has what about passenger safety if your out of the car? :evil:

no sorry i had a sony MD head unit in my old focus, which had a CD Changer connector at the back, i used the connects2 sony to ipod adapter, and i just thought maybe this sony headunit has the cd changer port at the back too

oh yeah i know thats there but its a reight pain because it wont charge the thing and i cant control it :( i bought a connects2 adapter for my previous sony radio and i thought it might have the same connector :D

you buy me em ill fit em :lol: Jamz new stereo is quite good! although i have never seen or used the origional, only problem i have is 1 the display doesnt scroll text and it seems a bit over sensitive to CDs, i had a cream CD i couldnt play in it but it plays ok in the home :? Anyhooo im going to buy some all white interior bulbs and some LED numberplate lights, a Alfa romeo passed me yesterday with these and it looked smart! 8)

can anyone tell me how the hell i can get my sony gen2 head unit out, id like to know if there is a CD Changer adapter at the back that will fit my ipod adapter :evil:
