How about the Sony MP3 Ford headunit ? Is it a new or used Cmax ?

Erm what do you seals look like.. I've not heard any squeeking.. mine seem to have a velvet top to them for the part that touches the bodywork...

No not yet :) I thought the xenons were meant to self level as you drive ?.. someone else mentioned the flashing as something that happens on all xenoned focuses.. though tbh I have not seen it on mine.. I'll check tonight when I get off the train. should be dark then..

I think BP ultimate launched in france first before the UK.. so I would think you would be ok.. Matt

I've just got some Chemical Guys Ez Glaze and M-Seal meant to be good on dark cars.. also going to be putting collinite 476 wax on the top to finish off :) I have noise over 50mph on both sides.. I think its just the wind against the tops of the seals as its a higher ride.. I cannot feel anythin coming through the doors (nor do I get any water coming through). Only really notice if I am driving in silence :) Matt

Not sure I should post... but ... 1.6 tdci (2006) 3 weeks old.. 1200 miles so far... very very impressed no issues to speak off.. though its seems to run smoother and quieter if I use BP ultimate Diesel :) Cheers Matt

Average speed 25ish I think... cars just broken 1000 miles got 500 on the second tank.

I was quoted about £20 a seat to fit (and supply) the plastic guide which basically allow easy access to the metal bar the seat attaches to.... Not sure where you are in the UK but Bristol street motors supplied my car and fitted the isofix kit.. Cheers Matt

Do you have leather or cloth seats ? I actually changed my mind and decided against them as I did not want the leather cut.. but they did it anyway (and without charging me :) ) and it looks ok :) But I believe for the Cloth seats you can pull the material towards the middle which leaves enaough access to the bar behind to slot your carseat in. If you do not want to do that then you'll have to pop to the dealer and get the plastic guides fitted which will probably mean cutting into the fabric.. Matt

Hell I'm well chuffed with 45-50mpg as I am coming from a 2.0L focus. You are right its very driveable, left it in sport mode and put my foot down.. :)

What are you getting ? On our 3 week old car (on its second tank) we are getting 45-50 mpg with a variety of a-roads and town driving... Matt

Oh.. I have a small grey blanking plate I think....

1. Erm.. the slight whistling near the top of the windows over 50mph.. 2....nothing else really... no issues with the seats as I went with leather. Not even had any creaks so far.. the only noise is really my kids car seats squeaking against the leather :) Loving every minute so far :)

I cannot see any aux socket in my glove with the Sony stereo (Sept build car)... where should it be if its been fitted ? cheers Matt

I got my focus valeted at the local rapid fit for £45 (in prep for selling) they did a stunning job.. and got rid of all marks/stains put there my little ones.. so damn impressed.. Though on the Cmax its leather all the way this time!

Not sure you can anymore.. I had my focus for 4 yr warranty/servicing back in 2002.. but on the blurb for my cmax it only mentions the 3 years with the various servicing options...

Nope mine are coming fron and back alu ones.. hence the cost... just waiting for them to come into stock at the dealer..

Hi... Who do you use for your car insurance...and whom has offered the best service (though not necessarily the cheapest). Policy is up for renewal in Dec.. and want to move from Esure... Cheers Matt
