  1. LOL! Unless you have kids of course, having has a 3 door car when my kids were younger, it wasn't great.
  2. OK here we go, by pushing on the rear wing roughy where I have marked the Green Cross induced the creaking noise which appeared to come from behind the door latch. Dealer undone latch and lubed and refitted, no more creaking. 8)
  3. I did also discover another creaking noise linked to the rear doors / wings (5 door only), I'll have to take some piccies to show this one, but this one was resolved by the dealer once I figured out where it came from.
  4. That one's bothering me at the moment. It's only appeared just recently. Is there quick way to fix it? My cabling has a hard plastic type covering, I think it is this that is causing the rattle, I've tried using cable ties to sort it without avail  so removing the plastic casing is next :) maybe replacing with some foam and insulation tape.
  5. Nice, Oz Canyons are cool too, considered these myself a while back before opting for Kei's:-
  6. Wolfrace do some fantastic wheels, my only issue is it reminds me of Pimp My Ride UK :?
  7. Yep saw yours rocky We need another one up
  8.  OK, who up for showing their car next? (New thread of course!)
  9. Car is looking great. Good idea to post piccies rather than in the Gallery, as you say it was getting crowded. Anyone else gonna shows theirs off? If so start a new thread!
  10. Another place to check for a rattle is the cabling under the front passenger seat :)
  11. Sara Not sure how ford will know you've had a new windscreen :? Plus there must be some form of guarantee from the screen fitters, you might get away with a repair on that one having seen it today
  12. Pass no idea mate, sorry  , I have 18's
  13. Hi James 19's have been done
  14. Hi Ewan, Quite possibly, have you tried asking in your local region of recommended body shops? Tony
  15. Hmmm Might be the tyres, I had Toyo Proxes on my MK2 and the road noise was bad, changed to Avon's and the "droning" went. My MK2 has 21k on the clock
  16. as above, I leave it to the garage to do
  17. Well if you originally had 16" wheels and put 18" wheels the speedo would give a slightly wrong reading, they can hook up to the computer and tell it what size wheels and tyres you have (I think!) thus calibrating the speedo correclty, I would imagine it would also correct MPG readings.
  18. Depends on the dealership, I asked the technician to do mine whilst it was in for some warranty work, and he did with no charge.
  19. If you change wheel size you should get your speedo recalibrated.
  20. Nope no special needs, I used to have a rack limiter fitted to "Stop" the wider tyres rubbing on the inner arch, but I have sinced removed mine and had no issues. Now all you need to do is find them funds 8)
  21. vfarrest, You should have no issue fitting to a lowered Focus, I had none and I'm not aware anyone else has either. 8)
