Well if it isn't rubbing now I don' think it will when it's lowered

Well when I first got my 18" Alloys I opted to have the rack limiters fitted, this was also done after the car had been lowered on Eibach Springs. Today whilst the car was in for some warranty work i asked the Technician to remove the Rack Limiters. Well having just picked the car up I can report no rubbing at all. My car is a March 2005 Registered Focus.

To see if they are required. Well they are now removed and no rubbing, I am running 18's with 225 profile tyres and the car has been lowered 30mm

If they have stuck the rack limiters on you will find them under the gaitors of the steering rack, a plastic type ring about 7mm thick. My car has gone in for warranty work today and I have asked them to remove my limiters, will report back once I pick the car up

Would it be covered under warranty?

No noise from mine, as you say, give the screen a good clean.

The auto lock as far as I can remember does not work on the newer focus. With regards to oil changes, I leave it till service time

I had my compressor replaced last year (2006) and mine is an '05. It was done under warranty
