As far as i understand it, the turning circle is the same the only diference is the weight. I prefer the sports setting, in comfort mode on dualcarriages and motorways the car seemed a little bit twitchy.

Even though my dealer told me that my 3 door came in from Spain, i've just checked the vin plate and it was built in Germany. If everyone checks their vin plates then we can find out what was built where. Does anyone know what the rest of the vin plate means ?

I was told by my dealer that my 3 door came from Spain. :?

Thanks for the info, I checked out the Torquesteer site and found the 'How to' section. Unfortunately it does n't work :( But i'am going to look into it more and see if there is a different way to get it to work.

The give away word in this is the 'dual' the driver and passenger can set two different temperature and i think its can be a differance of 4 degrees. I'am sure some one will let me know if i'am wrong.

I know this has been mentioned in a thread before but i can't find it :roll: Can anyone tell me if the function that when you come to a stop at lights the doors lock. Is this function available on the 3 door Mk2 Focus and if so how do you turn it on :?: Cheers IAN :D

[/url] Murph i think you are right about the photo thing. This is our 2.0 Titanium and the the colour match on the photo looks bad but in the flesh you can hardly tell the differance.

The ST i saw the other day had a full size steel wheel in the boot. Also the boot was n't as deep. Under the carpet it had storage compartments around the spare.

They are like the Recaro Style seat's. The car i saw was a ST-3 so it had leather but both seat's were manual and the salesman was n't sure if you could get electric seat's. As for the heat switch it is at the bottom of the centre consul next to the switch's for the heated screen's.Hope this help's IAN.

From what Rick has said on his ST-3 he might not be getting the passenger heated seat.

I was in Allen Ford in Romford today and they have got a red ST-3 in there and it had both driver and passenger heated front seat's and it was priced at £19,495 and it didn't say heated front seat's at extra cost on it's spec sheet. So is it an optional extra or not. :?

I've just been into Allen-Ford in Romford and they have a Red ST in their showroom look's rather nice actually, and the sale's man in there said that their showroom in Brentwood has a Blue one in. He also said that a woman came in and said that she wanted a blue one because she had a blue ST220 so he sent her to look at the one in Brentwood, but when she came back she said she had changed her mind about the blue because it did nt look any diferent to a normal Focus.

That's my weekend sorted then :lol:

Right now my first choice would be black because i think black car's look cool but they do seem to get dirty quickly and you alway's have to be cleaning them. The blue is a wicked colour but i've had a ST220 in blue and one in silver so i want something different. The orange until i do see one in the day light then (i've seen one on the motorway service's at night ) i'll reserve judgement on it. So right now i'am a bit lost that's why i wanted to see demo car's in different colour's so i think it's not a very good idea of Ford's just to bring out one colour.

Personally i think that colour is very important on the new ST ( being truthful i can't make my mind up which colour to go for :lol: ) So if any one else think's it's agood idea can we use this thread to let other people know which dealership has got what colour ST as their demo car. Personally i would like to see not only the orange but a few other colour's before i buy. So if anyone has spotted one could they please post here. Cheer's IAN. :wink:

Typical i've waiting week's for them to update the configurator just so that i can play about with the price of the ST3 and they go and * * * * it up. :x

Can some try and spec a ST3 in a standard colour and no extra's for £19,495 like what they say it is. The lowest i can get is £20,745. It seem's as if you have to spec the leather before you can spec the ST3 and then it doe's n't take the price of the leather off. :? :? Or am i just being a total thicko :)

Yep that's the one, it would be cool if he can do what he say's.

I'll see if i can find that forum again and see if there is any more progress on it. It make's buying the navigation a little more worth the money
