Nice car Ceri. Gee I'm dead boring me apart from the optional extras I have not modded mine at all. How does the automatic fare then? and do you recommend privacy glass.

Prefer the version I got now especially in the interior side of things. Looks like a Mazda from the rear.

On my Titanium 5 door Hatchback the 1.6 TDci has not let me down and what led me to this was atest drive in a C-Max version that still flew in MPv dariant. A most impressive engine that has given 62.5 mpg on a 350 trip at a very difficult to maintain constant 65 mph on Motorway and Dual Carriageway.

How do you rate your privacy glass :?: After scraping 3 of my cars reversing whilst drunk or in a tight spot into my garage from a shared car park I do commend the rear parking sensors on this model.

I think the only change left for Nelly is the aerial as it does no justice for the Titanium.

Dear Matt - no sign on my Focus with this engine, however I have got the cover (05 Reg).

The Gearknob and Handbrake are also part of the interior styling pack including Scuff Plates and 4 Velour Mats £125 option.

Trouble is you cannot see how big the recepticle is - so it could be extremely tiny :shock:

Remember Titanium has 3 different power steering modes on Trip computer - Sport, Comfort and something else. My Titanium has ESP and was worth every cent as I provoked it once. Great handling but try to get a test drive.

I was given Auto Windscreens and RAc windscreen telephone numbers who should have the vital information that Ford cannot provide :shock: . I can PM you Focez if you want the numbers. Again sorry for delay but my PC was awol :D :D :D

Finally the close up on rear Driver side - as you can see the tint is really dark. Unfortunately the Sales Rep and Tech Team had no figures but one Ford Techy has seen the police pull over one of these cars to check the rating :shock:

Here is one 3 more to upload.... The Passenger and Driver side are not as dark as the rest of the windows - probably down to the law requirements but these two are slightly darker than the normal.

To me the Focus MK II was far better than a Golf Plus I test drove last year as the wind noise from the Wing Mirrors was quite loud at 70 mph. The rear parking sensor is a godsend and I believe the boot is bigger than a Mk 1. Judging by the sales of the Mk 2 it remains a popular choice. As to whether the Diesel or Petrol is better could lead to another challenging thread :lol:

I believe the Titanium Model now has it as standard but the partial leather seats have now gone and are available as an optional extra. I take it the Ford Site does not display the new tint :?:

Be aware that certain car washes can remove the protective cap sited on the bolt of your windscreen wiper as both my Focus and Puma have experienced this. Of course I suspected foul play from neighbourhood but my clever wife deducted the true cause.

Yeah the colder weather takes it toll thank god for Tescos with 5p off a litre (spending £50 or more)which equates to a weekly shop.

I can vouch for 62.5mpg on my 110PS engine and that was at the 5K point. Will try for upper 60's next year now that engine has finally bedded at 10K point.

Yep this cost me £125 last year and included Focus Scuff Plates, 4 floor mats & improved handbrake and gearknob styling.

Andydajo, PM sent would be nice to meet up sometime. Maybe we could do a test comparison on our TDCis as I am definately blown away with its performance. Mine is decked out in the Titanium glory witha few optional extras. What version have you got?
