Just food for thought but what would happen if one of these "shut down" alarms was to fault and shut the car down when your doing big speed down the motorway etc or in built up traffic. Im all for alarms and protecting cars but more electronics can be a recipe for disaster as well, theres enough on the cars that can wrong as it is. I have a pedal jack for when its stationery and like has been said lock the doors when driving, other than that im a big bloke :lol: Mike :wink:

WDS is the comouter the dealer uses to plug into the focus OBD port to check for errors, do diagnostics and update the ecu maps. Mike :wink:

Personally i would wait a while and see what enters the market, bluefin will be available shortly and once theres a few in the market that will drive prices down for them to compete. Same for me i would have loved the RS both my best mates had them and sold them, just the thought of a 2-3 year old car put me off. But my mates sold them for newer hot hatches so there must be something in that. Mike :wink:

Hi the 6 disk system which is standard in the ST3 does not play mp3 discs, you would have to connect an aipod or similar to the aux connector in the glovebox if its fitted etc Mike :wink:

Understand your feelings buddy but we are all in the same boat at the moment, those that have them are very lucky. Look on the brightside when they do build ours they will have corrected all the faults and bugs found in the showroom cars and demonstartors :) Mike :wink:

I know this subject has been covered many times and i thought i was convinced i knew the answer but after reading another st write up tofay im not so sure again. Is the Headunit in the ST2 able to play mp3s itself or is it just MP3 compatible ie needing an ipod or other mp3 player plugged in to play them. The ford literature seems to indicate it can play mp3 disks but the reviews i read keep saying mp3 compatible, my dealer is unsure. So anyone with an ST2 can you confirm if the haedunit actually plays mp3s, one of the reasons i went st2 route was the mp3 head unit. Thanks Mike :wink:

I dont think the residuals will be as bad as people think, i have ordered mine with brooklyn for march delivery and they still insist only 7 will be allocated per dealer. and only 3600 produced in 2006. You can advertise them at whatever price you like but at the end of the day getting them and delivering them is another matter. If anyone actually gets one of these bargains then please post and let us know and i will stand corrected. But imo something is not right. Im getting privelage price so not paying full whack anyway but i am very sceptical of these low prices that are being advertised e

Some manufacturers do just not the loud ones, i think???? the RS focus has one fitted although im no expert :wink:
