Mind you, I do drive in my slippers with Kenny Rogers playing on the CD player how the hell are you getting such good mpg readings? im getting 32.5 at the moment and thats the best ive had in nearly a year and almost 12,000 miles. are you sure youve not got a diesal????????

hi, nothing to do with coolant but my 55plate zetec with the ti-vct engine has used a fair amount of oil since getting it brand new. anybody had this problem?

hiya peeps, just been looking on the forum and it seems some people with the ti-vct engine have rear disc brakes and not drums like myself and a few others ive seen, whats the deal is it a upgrade or are they standard?? anybody know why?

the bumper is already slightly different from the body, has been since new to be honest. ive used the bodyshop in past for various bits over the years and i know when i get it back itll look better than new. im having all the palstic bits done ie, side bump strips etc. just got to decide what wheels to have now ha ha

i think you could of got your point across without having a go, i have spoken to the car park manger and this has happened before and the post should be painted the same as the rest of the pst within the car park and they are also to short to be seen from inside the car. the firm is going to pay up to repair the damage and whilst its in the body shop im getting it coulour coded. i fell back in love with the car today after beating a astra twinport away form the lights he he

i have a 55plate zetec climate mate and ive got the holders but no wires. i think the holders are standard on all dashes and they put the wires in to what car they need. if anybody knows how to wire it up, lets us all know please

not got a clue mate to be honest. i picked mine up for 10500 in january. thats a zetec climate but i bought it tax free as im in the army and in germany. if youve got a zetec and now your after a zetec climate theres only 2 things differant and thats air con and a quick clear front screen on a climate. hope it helps

hang on simplythebeast, i know its my fault that i hit the bloody post but in my eyes if the post was painted like the rest of the posts in that car park then im my opion i would of seen it and not have hit it. i dont appricaite the tone of your messgae and i dont think its in keeping with the spirit if this forum to be honest.

the docs dont say anything but check your owner manual or if you need it ill scan the page and post it for you but from what i can see the intake pip from the air filter goes inbetween the manifold on a normal 1600cc and on a vct it enters the engine before the manifold. regards allen

hiya mate, i thought the same when i goit mine to ha ha ha. it says so on the log book and the manifolds are different between the ti-vct and the normal 99bhp 1.6. if you look i the owners manual it shows pics of all the engines and you can see were there is a difference here is some pics of my engine. hope it helps and if you start to look for parts ie fil[ ters and samcos etc please let me know has im finding it hard to source bits
