  1. 1. Crap Dealers who can't fix a fault first time. 2. Lies told by the Crap Dealer when they fail to fix it the first time. 3. Crap colour match (which Ford really need to get a grip of, but for some reason don't seem bothered) 4. Garbage courtesy cars they expect you to drive around in when yours is being fixed through no fault of your own. That said, MKII is, in my opinion a touch of class.
  2. Don't know but you could ask - they can only say no - or make something up saying it has an intermittent running fault (almost impossible to diagnose) which may force their hand.
  3. My 55 plate 2.0 Tdci went in for a new EGR valve and software update last week - it goes off within a couple of minutes now and the odometer text also blanks out.
  4. You won't find the bulb holders on a Sport as that is based on an LX. My late 2005 Zetec Climate only has the brackets - no holders or wiring - Ford has deleted them on builds after Sept 2005.
  5. Spanish Car - Moondust colour match was appalling on nearside door - made them repaint the whole side and still not perfect in bright sunlight.
  6. I also have a Sony 6 CD in my mkII Zetec Climate with a Parrot CK3100 kit fitted. I would recommend that before you install the microphone, swap it for a Nokia HFM-8 microphone (£4 on ebay) as it is way better than the crappy one supplied with the kit. You will have to swap the plugs over though, so a bit of soldering required. If you use adhesive velcro and stick the 'hook' side to the back of the Nokia microphone it will attach to the headlining at the top of the pillar trim without any permanant fixings required. p.s. The yellow wire on the Parrot loom will do the muting if you attach it
  7. Jennings Ford at Washington, Tyne & Wear - ST3 Silver 3 door, Full Leather
  8. Kevin, Nice choice for number 2 - bet your hoping the bumpers match better than your current one.
  9. Wait till it's done 10k - they do improve greatly as the miles pass by. Our is now far quicker, quiter and more economical. A panel K&N filter (part number 33-2886) will also improve the throttle resopnse and will make it more willing to rev harder - it's averaging 2 mpg more with it.
  10. Just had mine in last week for EGR fault and I asked them to change my rusty locking bolts under warranty which they did.
  11. Drivers side on Zetec also has a memory feature - Lift the handle and tilt the backrest forward until it clicks and THEN slide the whole seat forward. To regain the original position, slide the whole seat back until it stops then lift the handle and place the backrest back to its original position.
  12. Scootland, Your dead right, but what is more frustrating is that they are both Jennings Ford, guess which one will be getting my business in the future :?: - 1st service just around the corner.
  13. Went in today and they done it in 15 minutes flat - £25.
  14. Hope you got a courtesy car for the whole off road period from the insurance company...The're quick enough to make you cough up at the start of the policy.
  15. All 'orrible if you ask me !!
