  1. Ah, that sounds like it could be a right royal PITA!
  2. The red LED's would be very easy to change I should imagine if you can handle a soldering iron. :)
  3. Hiya!! Always about, just lurking in the forum shadows, ready to pounce when needed! ;)
  4. They are pretty good bulbs, and the 'Vision Plus' ones are also very good. However, after a string of short-lived Philips bulbs, I have switched to Osram SilverStar +50% bulbs, which are superb!! (you can get those locally from Ockendon Motor Spares). Often have people flashing at me thinking I have full-beam on when I don't! Suprises them when I flash back!! :D

  6. I do not believe that there is currently one available for the new ST. Bailey are rumored to have one in the making, but nothing has been seen as yet. The new ST already has a recirc dv fitted, and by replacing that with an atmospheric dv is likely to cause stalling issues with the car as it upsets the management system. This has been noted with the current RS model owners. Dave
  7. I planned on keeping mine for 2 years, it's now coming up for it's 4th year
  8. Not a problem. I also loathe the influx of 'TXT SPK' into message forums, but guess I have a higher tolerance threshold ;) As for the 'read afore ye post' issue, unfortunately this example is too common nowadays. However, most of those guilty of that have it pointed out to them by several existing members at some point, which tends to result in more research before posting the next question! :D I advocate the use of the following image where necessary! As for moving the thread and creating a poll, no, this will all stay here. However, we have now gone off topic, an
  9. Regardless of his grammatical structure, a question was asked in the first instance. Please keep on track and refrain from nitpicking about the way he types on a forum. ;) Thanks Dave
  10. It's not just Fords that are suffering with this. Quite a few manufacturers have been picked up on it  Dave
  11. How about a Focus XRST  Best of both worlds!! Dave
  12. Probably just the alternator, or something like the fuel pump / PS pump. You would know if it were an injector noise, that's more tappety tappety tappety ;) Dave
  13. Go for the best of both worlds, a Mondeo Estate :D Actually, I have the old focus estate & it's just about okay with 2 kids. Can fit 2 buggies & a weekly Tesco shooping in the boot snugly ;) You will find that a Mondeo hatch is comparable, if not slightly better than the old focus in terms of load space, plus the overall comfort level is better. The MK2 focus estate should be a much better option for you over the old focus, due to it being bigger all round, comparable to the mondie. My preference would still be for a mondeo estate though, I would happily swap for one without a thought.
  14. The bumper problem is not unique to Ford I have noticed  Have noted 3 Audi rag tops nearby with bumpers that are noticably darker than the bodywork. All of a similar colour to the 'Jeans' on the MK II Focus.
  15. Planty, PM juni0r, as he has done this mod using VW Polo blades: Dave
