Thats where I got mine too (although o/s & n/s were in seperate auctions from the same seller). You may find that once the first is won you won't get much opposition for the other 8)

Just to let you know..... I picked my car up on saturday afternoon and all seams to be ok with the replacement alternator :) I'm just a bit frustrated as to why it should take 10 days to fix :? madmp3, I have PMed you

As I type this, it is friday Still no word from the dealer(which is Allens of Upminster) I doubt it will be ready tomorrow and if it was ready, I have too much on to have time to pick it up :cry: That means the earliest I can collect it is Monday(if it's done) :roll: If you do chase it up, then the reg is EN54 KUY Sorry can't dig out the chassis no. at the minute :oops:

Thank's Mark, I don't want to put anyone out or find out why the item failed, I'm just a bit p****d off that it has taken so long to rectify the problem It's been off the road since the morning after the last meet and I'm just getting a little frustrated I know the service dept. is busy so I'm not going to badger them and make their life harder as it won't help get things done any quicker With a bit of luck, I may get it back tomorrow Cheers Steve

So, took my foci in on Thursday and told them what the fault was and the remidy They looked at it on Tuesday and confirmed the fault and the remidy and now they are still waiting for parts which they hope will arrive tomorrow (Thursday) They say they have 3 other foci's all with the same problem :roll: 1, So how long do parts take to arrive from the manufacturer? :x 2, Is this now a common problem and one to watch out for?

You can see mine in the MK2 gallery although there have been a couple of changes since the pictures were taken so need to take some fresh ones :wink:

My cars gone into Fords with a suspected alternator failer :cry: Driving it this morning, the bettery light came on and there was a noise comming from the alternator area Took it to Fords, and they may not be able to look at it till tuesday :shock:

I had mine replaced aswell, as it would only open with the remote key :roll:

When I got mine diagnosed, i asked to take a Fitter/technicien for a testdrive, and he agreed it was the servo almost straight away As we started the drive, I explained that I was mechanicaly trained so he didn't even try to fob me off :wink: They may not want to admit that is the problem cos its not an easy job for them to do....mine was off the road for 3 days :roll:

I have had a servo replaced under warrenty as in this thread http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name= ... ight=servo kensa, I don't suppose yours is a 2.0 is it?

Nice mod, it looks good, but I feel it would look better if both sets if indicators were smoked.....sorry but I just think it would :wink: Maybe that can be done in the future :wink:
