  4. OK, The Mrs has the C-Max, been driving 13 years, never a calim, always protected no - claims, car is kept on our drive (cant fit in the garage with all the other crap in there :)) She has three points for a SP30 a couple of years ago and Direct Line want 429 quid for fullly comp protected! Now this seems a tad high for me! Thoughts ??
  5. Had to bloody happen, the current wife was driving down a slip road when .... smack, a stone chip in the screen. So a call to Direct Line will follow. My only slight concern is that the Ghia screen has the auto wiper detection etc, will autoglass and the like be able to repalce this??? Anyone had their ghia windas changed yet? C

  10. and to think FMC watch this forum and act on what they read!!!!! COME ON FORD PULLL YOUR * * * * FINGER OUT.
  11. i would say depends what you want fromt he engine - if you want a derv for the fuel mpg then the 1.6 is king, our 2.0 tdci does 400 a tank which at 44 quid to fill up aitn that gfood and thats not really booting it either. But if you want the power - the 2.0 rocks - that engine has more torque than an Aston! It really is meaty. So you thinks what you wants adn you makes your choice Also if you want auto and derv you can only have that on 1.6. C
  12. Mick Love to see that for sure. Can you just retro fit em then? C
  13. TDCIGHIA, I think the thing here is yes all cars go down, just that the c-max goes down like Divine Brown! THats the problem.

  17. OK - lets turn the corner and be positive for a moment. Q: Who has carried the most "stuff" in their cars?? A: - well I have recently done up my eldest bedroom with standard Ikea attire. We managed to get 5 PAX wardrobes in the car! Now these fella stand at 204cm tall so with boxes etc I was quite impressed. Had to lose the front passenger head restraint, but I still happy with that. Any other feats to share? C
