they only move in and out matey not up and down. There are companies that to aftermarket bolt on kits for people that have disabilities i think. IM not saying your Wife has a disability fella but if they can help her then problem :wink: solved

Personally fella I would wait till the year but if you have any doubts change it in 6 months. it wont really make a difference here or there as the engine would have been run in already at plant they have to put every engine through what is called a "Hot Run Test" which basically runs them in at the same time. What Engine is it a Diesel or Petrol? :wink:

Afraid not Cherry its the whole lever assy unfortunately. How technicaly minded are you? Its not a hard job but you will need to get under the car to remove the cable from the lever. Assuming you have the manual handbrake not EPB? :wink:

Its only for cluster Diagnostics and just reading out measurements the sensors are reading like Voltage, gauge sweep, Cluster fault codes, and stuff like that its really just for show and wont always take you to the route of a problem :wink:

Depends what side mate you need the Drivers side and one other mirror being either the rear view or the pass door mirror. but if its the Drivers side one thats broken it will fail :wink:

it may need to be revved to the limiter just to push the excess out tho. it always used to work for me when i used to test. if a car was gonna fail on i always used to take it round the block and unblock the EGR always passed after that :D Good luck fella

This is the way the standard equipment in the 3 door zetec works. You will need to get your window control module upgraded before you can turn on/off global closing using this method. you will need then Recalibrated yes but not upgraded from my experience. im not too sure what else you need to do though. you may need to recal the BCMii module to enable the global closing and cal the other doors to global locking. so yes Dale it could cost you a few quid mate :wink:

not at all mate all it is is your EGR Valve has excess carbon build up and all it needs is a good drive i.e hit the rev liniter in first and second you will see the road behind you dissapear :lol: i dont see why they gave you an additive as some of these can cause issues with your Fuel pump???? but give it a try mate all Diesels do it they just need a thrash once in a while :wink:

Only if the Button for the window feels like its clicking twice when you push the window up it should work unless you have a faulty door module mate :wink:

Like i said does your window have a one touch up button? this can be derived as two stages when pushing the button up is there two clicks like in the down position? if so then it can be configured to go up with one push of the button

If you have the 2 stage up button and the window doesnt go up on its own then the door module hasnt been configured when its been reset at some point. Its an easy process just push the window button down till the glass stops in the door then hold the button down for 5 Secs then put the window all the way up then hold the button for 5 Secs hopefully this will reconfigure the door module :wink:

they arent actually Shift lights its a warning light to say that the engine is close to the limiter and not to keep the revs that high :wink:

that the dealer will have to prove which is not very likely knowing most dealers out there :wink: but i still suggest taking it to the dealer ASAP though matey

depends mate it could range from the VCT sensors failing to Misfire to blocked cat mate what ever you do though dont be driving it without seeking assistance from your dealer as failure to do so could cause further complications and cause alot more damage.

is there ant other dealers around your area fella? some delaers can get a bit greedy for money and will only be interested in Servicing because that where the money is but you do get some cracking Dealers that will help you every step of the way. There arent that many of those though :cry: :wink:
