  1. You simply gotta ask yourself what you want from your MP3 player. If it's just tunes I would go for the most simple device. 1) Less likely to fail 2) Less likely to get stolen
  2. Remember with Apple that they have a tendency to die after exactly 2 years. Got friend who's Apple computer and Ipod both died within weeks after the 2 year deadline.
  3. This car is so bare it doesn't even come with the Studio tag or the owners casually take it off. Really does look damn naked doesn't it? Think I would miss the arm-rest most in day to day driving (that is if you take the engine out of the equasion).
  4. LOL - think you might need to be a little bit creative with your adapter so you can fit it in your cradle. If I am correct, you can remove the cover so that you have the wiring and adapter bare. Further more, buy a normal adapter for the SE and remove the SE connecting bit and attach it to the existing wiring... Should then fit and work no?
  5. Yeah, know what you mean now... Is the bluetooth option from Ford. Does the phone fit alright? Just pondering it should be same size of Nokia phone to fit between seats. Perhaps some ICE boyz can help - basically sounds like straightforward replacement, taken into consideration the phone does fit.
  6. Brodit - looks good in the dash and easily removeable. For Sony Ericsson - http://www.handnav.co.uk/search_results ... 20Ericsson You can choose whether you want active (hardwired option as well) or passive. EDIT - I need to learn how to read... Anyway, above is the link for the holder. What adapter are you looking for exactly? The holder fitted in the console?
  7. Going to make it even better; Just took my girlfriend to Barcelona and proposed to her, (thankfully she said yes) when we came back - letter in the mail, "you've been made redundant". Timing is absolutely crap to be honest. Cancelled going back home for Christmas this year, am looking for work fulltime now... It is not a nice world buddy...
  8. Nothing happened to the car, company isn't doing well so they're seasing sales in the UK - which means I will be unemployed from December 31st... Will miss the car more than the job :(
  9. Thanks Rich - appreciate the feedback. Company is taking back car though - so no more playing with my Foci :(
  10. Sorry cannot give you the partnumber but thought I would declare my solidarity. Had similar incident with my MK2 Focus, damage amounted to £1,500 (including labour and VAT). you can try and source everything yourself, but you'll find that when you add up painting costs and such, you will still look at about half of that amount.
  11. looks very good actually... especially the handbrake - looks class.
  12. Yup you right - and remember him mentioning the foglights aren't a straight replacement so be careful.
  13. Should have been slightly more accurate in previous statement... I bought the 501 sidelights (4LED) for the footwells but they are 13mm and thus slightly bigger than the standard 501 wedge. My bad - didn't read properly. Hence, they won't fit in my footwells... At the same time, one of my single LED sidelights (for the headlights) killed himself. Perhaps these (slightly bigger) 501 sidelights will now fit there as I want more light anyway. Now going to get these little fellas: http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info ... 0590b2db07 Bought some 10 Amp fuses the other day as blowing my in
  14. Just to build on this little topic. Soundquality of the 6000CD is alright, but nothing fancy and adding any additional ICE to the unit is virtually impossible... Correct? Just pondering: could possibly change the OEM speakers, but probably output would be the same so no improvement in quality. Replacing it with the Sony unit isn't straightforward either as you still have 6 speakers rather than 8.... Where do the two new speakers for the Sony unit go? Any possibility of simply adding those yourself? Any other suggestions other than replacing it with single DIN?
  15. you could of course just hit that rather large button on the front?
  16. Yup, got same rev count when starting in morning.
  17. Uhm, no real issues actually. Loads of condensation on the inside doesn't sound good though. Can only say, follow any suggestions given in link above and refrain from parking your car in a random field.
  18. As mentioned above - not been able to fit them as they don't seem to like the footwell light holder. As I just blew a LED sidelight I will probably use them for my dipped beam combo. Again blew the bloody fuse - this is getting stupid.
  19. Well, put a pic up of my car during the day in the forecourt but still need to replace some bulbs before I'll be happy with them. Will try and take another pic later today (which will mean it's be dark) Ivo.
  20. Grrrr, one of my sidelights went last night. Have to admit, I always drive around with my lights on (thanks to intense advertising from Dutch Road Safety Organisation claiming your visability increases even during day when driving with your lights on) so reckon I've outlived it's lifetime already. Though the single LED looks kinda cute with it's blue/purple/white light - it's not proper quality and does not give enough light. Now looking to replace it with 4-in-1 LED. Bought some the other day from UltraLed - regular 501 sidelight which I was planning to use in the interior, but strang
  21. Ahhh, seen it before - you tha man with tha booty! Hahahahaha!! So do your fogs actually look white & bright? Don't think you mentioned it yet.
  22. Don't worry about ur English - your car is fluent
  23. Curious about that one as well - what did you need to change when fitting these wheels? Looking very sweet.
  24. Alright bud - think I found them online, worthy investment though. Very much looking forward to your how to...
  25. ahhh, see what you mean... Ok, with next paycheck I will need to shop for some bulbs. You got a pic of your car Kev?
