  1. Mine is an 08 Style TDCI and has aircon, electric mirrors, front fog lamps, trip computer. Not sure how many of these were extras as I bought mine used. As I understand it was in fact the 'Studio' that was the base Focus model, but they are pretty rare.
  2. I agree with other comments- looks too much like the fiesta, not that I have anything against the fiesta in it's own right, but I feel the Focus should be be distinguishable from it. Some of the funny colours aren't doing it any favours either, not sure what would make anyone go out and buy one in the dirty yellow. I'm sure it will grow on me over time though.
  3. Funny, 72k was about the mileage my mk1.5 required a lot of expensive work back in 2009. The clutch was on it's way out, the cam belt was due to be done, the water pump had a slight leak, some of the elements had gone in the front heated windscreen but the real killer was the condenser for the air conditioning that would have been £350 for the part alone. To be fair the clutch was probably down to a lot of stop start driving in my area due to constant road works. I decided to part ex it for a mk2.5, it would have cost well over £1000 to get that lot sorted. I thought maybe I was a bit unlu
  4. That's what I have (ST headlights) but they're not plug and play. The levelling motor on the Xenon headlights is different as it has 4 connections rather than 3, so you need to swap them with motors from halogen headlights and change the motor connector. There was also some mods required to the connection plug - there is an extra ground and another connection, so you have to be handy with a soldering iron. Just be aware that the xenons should really have auto levelling and washers to be legal (which can create MOT/Insurance issues). Sorry, had to get that in before someone else jumps on t
  5. Nice to see that after-market mk2.5 lights are finally starting to appear - but the price is a very high. I got a set of mk2.5 ST xenon lights for half the price of that on Ebay though I was very lucky with that. :D Doesn't look as though they come with the motors fitted either- I know from experience that the motors are very hard to remove and fit for mk2.5 headlamps, especially on the drivers side, I managed to break my drivers side headlamp when I removed the motor to put in my ST headlamp.
  6. I can't remember exactly how much - think it was around the £10-£15 mark.
  7. Had the same thing in my 08 plate. Every time I pressed the button it was like a fat sweaty man had just got in the car after a hard workout. I changed the filter which also considerably improved the airflow (a pain to get to though and should have been done with the service but wasn't) and used an 'air bomb' (air con cleaner) and have had no problems since. Something to do with bacteria build up in the system.
  8. I Have fitted a rear interior light to my mk 2.5, though the light I used was from a mk1. This type of light has a metal retaining ring that clips to a hole cut in the headliner. Its important to make sure you have this ring if using a mk1 light (not sure on mk2 light). I used a mk 1 light as it was readily available on ebay. You use the retaining ring as a template, mark out with a pencil then carefully cut the hole with a sharp stanley knife. Its best to do this slowly and work away at it a bit at a time. The wiring needs to be connected to the front light and needs to be threaded through us
  9. Yep - Just checked out my 08 Style and indeed it has the bulb holders. Just added some spare bulbs until I get some LEDs like the main interior light, works great! You need to look for it though, probably won't find it by feeling around.
  10. This is for my Focus style TDCI (Mk 2.5) for anyone interested - think its same for the Titanium
  11. White LED's give a nice effect for side lights, www.ultraleds.co.uk have a good selection. Some of the latest ones are a big improvement over the ealier ones, I have some in my interior light and they are seriously bright!
  12. The night breakers I have are designed more to give out plenty of light and aren't really that blue although they do have a very light blue band around the base of the bulb. For light output its pretty much between Osram night breakers and Philips extreme power, with many people saying the philips have the edge. Otherwise a HID kit, though I didn't really want to go down that route for this car (mostly worried about insurance). For a more blue look the Osram Cool Blue bulbs would probably be better though I haven't tried them. I know that the blue coating always absorbs some of the light th
  13. Certainly the dipped beam is H7 for Mk 2.5, first thing I did was to upgrade mine to Osram night breakers when I got my mk 2.5. Not sure on the high beam.
