Well i received a PM from another member saying: i got 1.6L and mine is ~28mpg . thats very normal yours is 25.4 what is very normal also. dont forget that u got induction kit what increases fuel "loss" also and pretty much ! those who say that they have 36mpg on 1.6 and so. they drive 99% of time in freeway because that is just impossible in city. ________________________________________________________________ Craig mate what are you getting? Ello my foci friends :D Wanted to know what kind of fuel you use? For the petrol heads do you use the normal unleaded or the advanced rocked fuelled Unleaded haha :lol: (Optimax or Excelluim, or ultimate). When i got my new foci i used to go to BP and fill it with the Ultimate but now ive started filling at Total excellium where i get 30miles more when driving :shock: and its true! Plus the ride is much smoother i think :?

well the car is still new and the engine hasnt really worn in soo ill see how it goes...but i have to say the car does drink alot :( If only cars would drive on water :twisted:

I'm a petrol head myself but the 2.0tdci is quite tempting.. :? Mite go for a test drive and see how it feels :D I do drive my car alot but when i drive i like to feel alive and i only get that feeling with a petrol car not a diesel...agreeing to Brucie what ever floats your boat lol

Yes the automatic MK2 has it to show what Gear their in..Drive, Reverse, park...etc Also its used for satnav :D Its a pity they couldnt have used it for the manuals..... :(

Im not disputing the fact that the MK2 is better built coz its evident that they have been well thought about! :)

Bryan i dont think we should be comparing the Focus Mk2 to the VW Golf :P VW Golfs are much better built, tho slightly more expensive the materials and build quaility are 2nd to none. My mum owns the new Golf and i tell u i'm considering a German car for my next ride... :shock: But mate its just your opinion so if your happy :D
