  1. I know of a guy breaking a Black ST five door Ronaldo, i'll ask him what the skirts are like. He's in London to.
  2. There not fitted yet mate, im trying to sort the connections out with the (parking) aid Of Tezza. I kind of jumped the gun abit when I said replaced as its WIP.
  3. Ronaldo, are you after some side skirts? Is your car a five or three door?
  4. I had a speedsafe set up and there crap. I have replaced it with the ford one now. If its the sensors I have four that will be surplus to requirement soon.
  5. Its probably due more to the tyres mate to be fair. Thier not a bad place to be inside at all. Easy to do alot of miles in. There reasonbly quiet, I have the radio on level 6 when doing about 70 and hear it quite clearly. Think its goes up to 30 odd...lol
  6. You must have a good one jamz as you only have to touch mine with a shammy and it marks it. The paint is crap. Very crap indeed.
  7. I used screws underneath aswell but black tiger seal everywhere else and I brought new ones which have a sticky tacky pad along the leading edges to.
  8. My 2.0 tdci has seen 66mpg on the computer many a time but normaly sits around 56mpg. As for body work, the paint is thin and very crappy so I hope the rust prevention underneath holds up as they will look very tatty in years to come. I wash mine once a week and it gets polished and waxed aswell so its not bad on the bodywork side of things. Ive done 18000 or there abouts in 12 months and no problems as of yet.
  9. Those yellow clips go in holes that ST has along the bottom of the rear quater panel, normal focuses dont have them so if your brave you can drill your own (voiding bodywork warranty) or as I did, remove them and use tiger seal along the flats where the clips were and along the edge that mates to the body work. As for the bottom holes, you will have to remove that thin black plastic skirt from under your car, remove the little rubber bungs that are in some of the holes and offer it up, I had to drill two holes in the sill to enable me to fasten the skirt in four or five places as it will line
  10. All xenon fitted fords have auto level, none of them will have the interior adjustments for the level of the lights.
  11. I always thought thats how they work timbo^^ but hey hum.
  12. Is naomi the women who solders up light swtiches to different colours?
  13. I was told by someone at ford that they just work all the time on the headlamps anyway when you use the screen one's. Not sure if thats correct or not.
  14. I agree with Timbo, I used the said wiring diagram and it doesnt work on mk2 xenons. The xenon motors have three signals and a earth through the leveling sensor that should be fitted to the wish bone. The normal headlamp just has three connections for the leveller motor. I realised it would need to take the old headlamp apart and use the leveller motor wiring but wasnt brave enough to open up the units. Fair play to you Timbo if you get it all working.
  15. Dont yank the handbrake, back off the adjuster screw so the handbrake comes right up and then lift the surround off. I hate bodget answers, If you dont know what your talking about dont reply as its no help to the guy.
  16. Tree, I edited my post last night and added the size of 38-39mm Ive no idea where that has gone! This forum is wierd.
  17. I asked the question in lighting mate and found out myself so have a quick search for it.
  18. Like the cat watching the football or is she just more interested in the guy in a plastic bag on the TV.
  19. Its at the bottom of the B post or so ive been led to believe mate.
  20. Hey dave, did you not have the relay plug under the carpet then? Did you have to make your own loom up and everything?
  21. Check the top of this forum for the sticky MK2 recall thread. It mentions the servo hose there. Ive had mine done on its last service.
  22. There was a recall on a servo vacuum hose or something along those line's Not sure if it was a vacuum for the manifold or for the brake system.
  23. Timbo01, mine is a titanium mate so the same switch as in the picture. My car seems to have a high spec interior loom as it had heated seats, blue tooth etc but not engine bay loom, just a boggo standard derv loom.
  24. I got them of a ST that was being broken, I also put a post up in the for sale thread about it. Found the guy on ebay in the first place.
