Ne fella, they are all the same fitment. When i added my ST wheel to my Titanium, it was a straight swap and my original airbag/horn button etc. went straight in. They are all the same.

Oh! I see, but they have left hout the Sony sign i see. On my unit, The previous square shape one, the Sony sign actually lights up. And i liked the white bit between the red and the blue on the heating controls. Or have you modded this for you're prefference.

I doo very very very muck like the way the Ford badge sits on the rear trim part. I wonder if that is the same fitment.

Do these new units have green leds still or are they red or orange. I think the red will suit the ST but not the standard focus with green.

From the Drivers side, with all the bits off it, I managed to get at about 5 screws and the top part pulled towards me quite simple. The close to the middle though, i did not know where to turn for the next bit.

Yes it is very normal as the plastic has been designed not to emmit light. As is the indicator and wiper stalks. I was very dissapointed with this too as it would have been nice to have them lit up.

Hey mikey. I am after the blue ones if i can get em. To go with the car, but there was a set on here but they were ripped because the airbags had deployed. It would have been silly to ask about em. I am also lookig out for the complete black leather as they must be highly sought. Probably expensive too.

Thanks guys... I have a little electrical knowledge so i am comfortable with cutting into the loom. I have butchered a pod already to no avail. The unit runs of a very low amount of current fed from the speedo cluster. Any Tis i have tryed to get only covers Focus's up to 2004 witch don't help me unless you know of a tis that does. Yes the St and Titanium does have the same loom. This is baffaling me as i said... The wires on the St loom and where they go to are on my car at the ends but no plug. The only wire that is not there is from the fuse box in the passenger footwell. I AM ALMOS

This is probably due to the fact that there still is no haynes or mechanical manuals out there for us to learn about our cars on a more expertised level. This then leads us to gather ideas and information and make websites, however there is a german version of the Mk2 Haynes manual floating about, but i don't read german, so i didn't get it.

The Plan: The plan was easy, get what I need off the ST loom and just add it in the correct places to my Titanium loom. I wanted the Pod gauges to work and as I had an ST loom I started to get to work on it. Action: Starting at the plug for the ST Pod Gauges, I followed every cable connected to it until I got to their ends. I labelled them up explaining where they went to and what pins they were connected to etc. Disconnected it all from the loom as a whole piece. Went out to the car and looked at where every connection went to, supposedly. All the connections had the wires already in place,

Should be a straight swap. I dont think Ford would have changed the loom or connections already.

This is not a fault as i understand. It is mearly a previous software version. It was the same for me but on my stereo. My focus and my girlfriends focus are identical in every way. We both at the time had a 1.6 Zetec Petrol in jeans blue. Both was 06reg and both were 5dr. Both had identical milage to the thousand, but both had completely different stereos. One was a previous version and did not have the functionality of the other. We put it into ford for nearly 6 months and when it returned they still did not understand my problem. In the end they tryed replacing it with several different typ

Testing you alarm is simple. Just go to the bonnet and unlock it while the car is naturally locked. I have got a high pitched beep like a lorry reversing but really loud. I think standard focus has a horn which sounds pretty lame. As for the locking system brought to us in association by oldcruiser: 1st press of the lock button: Lock Doors 2nd press of the lock button: Deadlocks, Arms the Immobalizer and Alarm and flashes the indicators as said above.

Looks like new locks and new keys + the immobalizer being reprogramed. I sure hope you have that insurance procedure that Tim has mentioned. If not i hope you have some savings. I think it's £100.00 just for the reprograming. Take care fella... all the best.

What an eye saw. The colour is horrid, and the chrome is blatantly wrong. The front looks like a new shape micra with its total roundness. The back looks to plasticy. As for the functions and some of the features. Yes but would i buy one. It would have to be the ST and i would try to glue the MK2.0 bumpers on cos i dont like the lines. The side is cool but the wheels look a bit left out on the design board.

I didn't know they had em already or is it just for show until the release date.
