Hi guys thanks for the replys. I managed to get an ISO lead last night, i started up the HU and thought how crap the quality of the screen was, then i tried a disc and it kept on rejecting them, so gonna try and get a hold of the people and get a refund :x . 1_8zetec_climate, so im keeping mine, for now

Will the old fascia fit my console? Looking at it, my current fascia pulls off then 4 phillip screws are remove to take out the head unit. The older gen stuff looks like two screws in the middle.

After trawling through the forums, Will i need the square fascia and then also another? Im really confused :lol:

Where can i get them from? I currently have the rounded facia.

Sorry, underneath inline with the wing mirror I actually noticed it on the driver side, but it was dripping from the middle of the car.

I imagine it will be the aircon, there was clear liquid coming from underneath, if you looked underneath the wing mirror.

GazzNWW, are you on about fitting rings to your current headlights? If so i remember a thread about its around the same price just to get aftermarket ones.

I think the HU is meant to dim when lights are on otherwise it will distract you at night being too bright.

darando, have you noticed all the interior lights dim when turning on the lights.

what model/year/engine size is this on?

Well all this came about because of the new RS. I thought if i traded my car in now, got a st170 i would have a lower monthly outgoing, and the money i saved would go into a pot for the new RS.
